The hotel is very outdated and needs to be refurbished. Because of that carpet looked and felt real worn.

Hotel was clean. We stayed 4 days and they were willing to clean our suite everyday if we requested it. Breakfast was included. It had a different approach to the hot bar like omelette’s and such. A large contingent of school baseball teams and cheerleaders were staying at the hotel so it was busy. I would stay again. Staff were very accommodating.

The biggest frustration was how the situation was handled by the staff. They were not very friendly or helpful in trying to resolve the problem, and we did not feel like our concerns were taken seriously. A simple room correction or a more accommodating approach would have made a big difference. The breakfast was also below expectations, with limited options and quality that could be improved. The pineapple didn't taste fresh and the French toast was hard. Although, we didn't use the pool, it looked very nice and a good size. Parking was also easy to find an open spot for the hotel being overbooked. I only mention this because, we were told it was overbooked as to why we didn't get out 2 queen bed room. Overall, the hotel was acceptable, but the incorrect room assignment and poor customer service during check-in greatly impacted our stay.

Pay to park cheesy fee

Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age. Carpets are “unglued”, wrinkled in the hallways (causing a trip hazard), the chairs and sofa in the rooms are worn - no spring or foam left in the cushions. During our stay- the conditioner and shampoo bottles were empty, no extra TP, arm was broken off desk chair. Unfortunately, at no fault of the hotel - there were groups of unsupervised kids - cheerleading camp, hockey team, birthday parties… it was loud and hectic. Where I blame the hotel - they never said a word. Saturday evening, we saw the security guard- but he also said nothing. In the evening, it was difficult to get an elevator as the kids were playing on them. Again, unsupervised - NO parents in sight. We stay here several times a year - this was the worst. Maybe I will try downtown Embassy.

I didn’t know I had to pay for the parking. So that was a shock.

The staff in journal has forgot how to smile. We have stayed at this and other Embassy hotels and had better service. The nicest staff member was the lady making the coffee.
-
Hotel was conveniently located to the conference center, restaurants, not far from the airport, and shopping. Friendly service, room was clean, facilities well maintained, breakfast served a variety of items and offered made to pancakes and omelets. When we visit our friends again, we will stay here again.

The entire property was very clean. We absolutely loved our room. It was so comfortable. We enjoyed the separation between the “living room” area and the bedroom. Nice size table that I was able to use for my desk. Housekeeping did a great job throughout the entire property. Front desk staff was always pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast. Definitely planning to stay here again.

The only problem we had was with the COFFEE at breakfast!!! It was horrible terrible not consumable!

I appreciated the staff letting us check in early.

Ten dollars for parking, but they waived it because I signed up for Hilton Honors. WiFi is free unless you want to upgrade. Lots of rooms (43 on our floor), and 7 floors, but there were three elevators. I didn’t have to wait long for one. Bacon was a hot item at breakfast and disappeared quickly. They had a lot of fresh fruit and yogurt. Everything else seemed to be typical hotel breakfast, or maybe slightly better. Pull out couch uncomfortable and hard. We’ve only had one comfortable couch so far in our years of 2 queens + a couch. Photos and descriptions on Expedia don’t make it clear the difference between their suites. We didn’t want to risk not having a pull out couch, so went with the more expensive option that showed two queens and a couch in the photos and listed “sleeps 6” in the description. We’ve lost out before searching for a 6 person room and getting a 4 person room and having to pay for a second room. Enjoyable pool with two support posts that make it impossible to see all parts of the pool at once. Pool towels provided. The front desk will text you, and you can ask them questions via text. Evening reception had goldfish crackers, and two cracker mixes—one with peanuts, as well as carrots and cucumbers with hummus and ranch.
