My Place Hotel - South Omaha/La Vista, NE

When I walked into the room it smelled like a car air freshener. It isn't noticeable after a while which was one reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. The other was the tv remote turned the tv on and off but didn't change the channel from the Weather Channel. There was a fun program about viral weather I enjoyed. The room was clean and comfortable. The recliner was really comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I barely disturbed the bedding. There is a coffee maker but you need to provide your own filters and coffee. The freezer has an ice maker which was unexpected. The shower has pump shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The hotel is located near a couple of good restaurants - a tiki bar and grill across the parking lot and a breakfast/lunch restaurant 2 minutes away. Plenty of free parking. Staff was friendly and polite. I will stay here again.

Nice and easy place to stay. We didn't have any issues and it was great for the one night that we stayed.

It was a great location for us and a newer hotel. Staff was fine, but the room wasn't as cool as it could have been! Would stay there again .

They were able to get me a room with the handicapped shower but not the recliner. Which I needed to sleep in since I just had total knee replacement surgery.

I would stay again. It’s a good location to walk/ eat at Casey’s. Everything you need is there if stranded

It was a smaller place. In a good location. It didn’t have amenities. The room that you get a kitchenette had no pots, pans, plates silverware or utensils to cook with. I had to go to Walmart to buy stuff. The morning staff was never around to help

We stayed on June 17th 2026! Very clean and comfortable! My sister left her anniversary ring there! She called and was informed that cleaning person found it, and returned it to the front desk! Thank your staff for finding it and returning it to her! Will definitely stay again! Thanks, Mary Novak!

Great place to stay

The only problem I had was while taking a shower there was not a lot of water pressure, but everything else was excellent

Standard room was okay, not many amenities. Room had a stale smell and only received room cleaning once. Probably not staying there again.

Not fancy, but very clean & friendly staff. Great coffee available in the morning.

It was fine. It was also the only hotel with availability in LaVista and we were there for a show at The Astro. The room was clean but we were on ground level and our screen had been broken out and not repaired so it looked obvious that someone could get in easily. The AC is so loud that it woke us up every time it clicked on. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Only bad thing was, we booked a room with a recliner and didn't get it. Other than that, it was clean, everything worked, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. Would stay again... but make sure we get the recliner . 😄

Clean hotel, but room smelled moldy and one of my towels had someone else's blood on it. Very unacceptable!

It was a great place to stay we enjoyed our stay.

Room was clean and quiet but smelled of smoke. We were unable to move rooms due to the hotel being at capacity.
