Great Wolf Lodge Atlanta / LaGrange, GA

I had a great time on this quick getaway, spending just one day there. However, I have a minor complaint about the limited food options. I also wish they would suggest more activities and entertainment.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well kept. The suite was comfortable and spacious. There were plenty of things for kids to enjoy. The eating places were nice and the sitting areas were relaxing. I will definitely go back.

We went for Labor Day weekend so it was a busy weekend, but other than that the staff was good and the kids loved it!

My kids like the water park and the room layout the down side is omg it’s dirty, and smell really bad in our room and all the elevator smells like mole everywhere my kids have rash from how dirty the bed are !!! Will not come back

The room was soo dusty that I could swipe my finger on lamp table and you could see the line so thick. Also I didn’t know they would close the outside pool during week when summer season is over. Towels are very thin, if had known I would have brought my own. Other than that we had a good time.

Bring plenty of extra money! Between arriving at the property and leaving check-in to our room, I laid out another $1,050 - nearly twice what I prepaid for our stay. The facility is on well-groomed private land, but parking is $20/day. Then they required a $400 room deposit, but charged me twice! I spoke with management about removing the unauthorized charge. I was told it was corrected, but when I called my bank, they said they didn't receive any such reversal. Both charges were removed from my account on the day I left. The water activities are included with your stay, but I spent another $149 on non-water activities (climbing wall, ropes course, mini-bowling). There are other activities not included in that package that are available for an additional fee. The room was clean on arrival, but they don't clean or refresh towels during your stay (hospitality will deliver more on request). I was overcharged for food on two occasions (a $23 pizza plus a 20% gratuity somehow added up to $32.97, and a $16.99 taco salad with a 20% gratuity ended up costing $24.75). I spoke with a manager and was told that they would look into it, but I never heard back from anyone. My kids were 8 & 10. They loved the waterpark, but never bothered with the non-water activities. The sweet spot is ages 4-10. We stayed a week, but should have only spent two days there. To their credit, they did comp the $149 for the non-water activities and gave us $150 to use during our stay for the inconvenience.

During my visit, I encountered significant issues with unclear policies; staff presented limitations not previously disclosed, and attempts to seek clarification were met with unprofessional and unhelpful responses. This lack of clarity and customer support continued into subsequent interactions, with staff speaking loudly and dismissively in front of other guests. Overall, the persistent communication breakdowns and uncooperative staff severely impacted my stay. I would caution prospective visitors to ensure complete familiarity with all policies beforehand, as staff assistance proved unreliable.
