The location is fantastic, and the staff was very friendly minus one of the valet guys who drove like a bat out of hell.

Beach view is amazing. No TV in the room I stayed in. No outside parking so you have no choice but to use the valet service.

Amenities and location were amazing here. A short walk to everywhere we wanted to go in Laguna. Only downside was the sheets were dirty when we checked in, but the staff delivered fresh bedding once we reached out about it. Would definitely come back.

This Logde is not luxury nor are you walking down a long hall way to a cookie cutter hotel room. Its better! Unique, a zen like bungalow vintage beach vibe and every room is different. The gounds are beautiful with a lush brick pathway down to the beach. No bad views here and the staff is very accommodating. My husband and i have been here 4 or 5 times in the last 3 months. It's our spot!

Great hotel in a great location with great staff. Only peeve is the A/C is not 100%.

Beach access is great.all is good just Elevators would make the experience more convenient specially with toddlers, babies and strollers

This is a charming renovated hotel with direct access to the beach, plus having a pool and jacuzzi. We had a king room with an ocean view but without a balcony—they have some with quite larges. There’s no TV in the room and we didn’t want one but I thought, that’s odd. The restaurant is at the start of what I think is the best part of LB.

My friend and I had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Laguna Surf Lodge! Can't wait to return!

The upstairs does not have an elevator. Great boutique hotel. Greta location. Amazing staff valet parking. Not luxury.

It was completely relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a suite based on picture I did not receive. There was no air conditioning making it very uncomfortable, pet friendly but no pet area. Booking stated breakfast included but no breakfast was offered Air conditioning, receiving what I paid for and designated pet area

The property was kept up nicely and Ryan did an awesome job helping us get towels, find out where the blow dryer was, and also took care of our vehicle. Krystal checked us in and while I noticed guests received an awesome presentation of the hotel amenities, like coffee, fresh towels, and other amenities she did not explain it to us, I asked her “So what were you telling all the other guests?” she copped an attitude and rushed through the presentation, which was very rude!!! She was not pleasant at all, and did not smile, and had this haughtylook about her. This is very unfortunate because she’s in an industry where being cordial and friendly is a must!!! So we checked into our room and for $1700 we were sadly disappointed! It was my birthday weekend and I cried!!! The room was located in the back of the hotel near the trash bins which I could smell through the window, which I had to keep open because the small air conditioner did not get cold, and placed next to the laundry room and the employee entrance and exit, and eating quarters, The bed sheets were wrinkled, broken lock, and the room was old with nailed wood pieces to keep the mirror in place, sinks were painted with white paint to cover up stains and no “watch your step” sign in front of our room’s step. I went to ask for another room and asked why our room was misrepresented? Krystal said there was no availability and said that Expedia put the wrong pictures although they were asked to take them down! I cried!

The view and location were amazing, and the facility is both family- and pet-friendly. A special shout-out to the incredible valet team: Christian, Gabe, Joel, and Ryan! This property is still in need of major renovations. The room doors were difficult to both open and lock. Additionally, the bathroom was very dated; the shower felt dark, old, and reminiscent of an outdated RV. In terms of cleanliness, housekeeping only services the rooms every three days, and upon our arrival, there was still sand in the sheets and on the floor. This place offers true, bohemian beach vibes—nothing luxury or fancy. Note that the AC is just a single window unit and does not keep the top rooms cool.

The customer service was impeccable. I certainly would stay here again. The shared balcony was a little odd and the room design was a little odd. But the view was amazing and the staff was amazing.

There was also no in-room phone to contact reception, which meant going down to the front desk or using a direct landline, and there was no alternative communication such as WhatsApp. The front desk experience was not particularly welcoming. Overall, the stay did not offer value for the price paid. The only positive aspect was the beachfront location and the nice views.

The staff was so helpful friendly and welcoming answered every question and just made us feel so comfortable. If looking for a friendly relaxing place to stay in Laguna this is definitely the spot I will for sure be coming back here again .
