Reviews
-
Horrible bathroom and generally old property that needs updating. Not worth the high cost to stay there.
-
The entire complex is due for demolition to accommodate construction of the new Pacific Edge Resort, so the property is in less than ideal condition.
-
Very clean, great beach accessibility and the staff was awesome specially the housekeeping & valet staff.

Unfortunately I am unable to recommend this hotel and will not be planning to stay there again. My daughter and I were given a street facing room, which was very small for what were paying. It was noisy, there was light coming in all night from a window that did not have a black out curtain covering it, and because it was an adjoining room, there was TV noise and conversation that we heard until 2:00AM through the door. We were not able to sleep for most of the night. When we asked for a PARTIAL refund, due to the terrible accommodations, we were told nothing could be done. After being told there was no other room to switch to, eventually we were moved to a different room for our second night and we did sleep a bit lbetter. It took hours for the AC to cool the second room down though. Overall we felt the hotel was run down, not particularly well cleaned, and way overpriced for what we experienced. I would not recommend this hotel, even though it is located in the heart of Laguna with beach access. We did not have a positive experience there.

Great location

The best part was the beach view. Other then that im sorry but the smell of sewage, the cleaning of the room was ok, the stuff was no where to be found, I mean are we talking about Valet? I definitely wouldnt stay here again unless, remodeling and updating was done. To be so close to the beach and have such a great view, but accommodation were not good.

The location was great! Hotel needed updating and maintenance. There was not beach chairs and or umbrellas available due to high tide? We could have taken the chairs down the beach a ways but wasn’t an option.

Nothing beats the view from the balcony!

This hotel did not feel like a resort at all. The hotel and room are very much dated. The air conditioner in our room sounded like a plane was taking off all night. The water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low. The handyman came in and changed the showerhead during our stay in the room. We would have left and found another room, but Laguna was completely booked. We let management know how we feel, We never heard back. Would never recommend this hotel.

A better room for the price I paid
