It definitely doesn’t look like the pics or I just got an old ugly room? The location is nice but the room I stayed in was old and really outdated. That was disappointing. I splurged to take my boys there so I was bummed. Only nice thing was everything was walking distance.

Supervisor Devine was great and extremely helpful. The property is in poor condition and will be going under repairs in September 2026.

Beautiful ocean view!!

Staff was great, the lounge/umbrella guy wasn’t there was a slight inconvenience but overall it’s the perfect location!

Great view and beautiful room. I wish there was a screen door to be able to leave the door open with some ocean breeze.

if you’re not staying in the more expensive rooms (i.e. paying 3-5k for a week) then this place is not worth it. The more affordable rooms are essentially a Motel. The front part of pacific edge isn’t technically “beach front” although it is a quick walk across the parking lot or behind the buildings. The back section of pacific edge hotel is actually beach front, so that through me off. Also, the first room we had the key entry wouldn’t always work and then our whole power system went out and our air conditioner and tv weren’t working, and the shower water pressure was bad. however, they accommodated us to move to a room next door which was nice. that one, the key entry worked everytime and very minimal issues. I will also say the bedding, carpeting, etc could be a bit cleaner, as we experienced seeing a lot of stains. Additionally, you can hear people in the rooms behind you talking, watching tv, etc, which was a little unsettling.. and the people above us were very loud (bouncing balls or something??), we also had construction going on within the property outside our door starting before 8am… We really enjoyed the location and weren’t in our rooms much, but in terms of affordability and bang for your buck, i would’ve chose a different place and i probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great stay in Laguna

We had a horrible experience. The rooms are all connected and you can hear everything. We had a ton of people partying and we couldn’t sleep until 2 AM. Then we woke up to them throwing up at 4AM. Property isn’t as pictured. Pick another property!!

Easy check in and out. Simple rooms Needs cleaning sheets were stained shower floor had stain as well. There was a very foul odor from the drainage in the restroom. And the biggest disappointment was the construction. No mention of this at time of booking or even at check in very inconvenient since I was traveling with toddlers and a baby.

The room was not what we were expecting; it was outdated and the floors creaked a lot as we were upstairs. The water was cold on our first day and we had to notify staff; the staff at first was telling us that it was normal but after being adamant they fixed the issue right away and hot water was working. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The pool was nice and there was a passageway to the beach but the waves were bad so we didn’t really use the passageway. The hotel was walking distance to some shops and some cafes. The only thing we didn’t like was that the street was a busy highway so when driving around it was difficult. We also didn’t like how loud our neighbors were especially in the middle of the night.

Air conditioning did not work upon arrival

Clean room with daily house keeping and quiet area

The standard rooms are MOTEL6 rooms but they do not show any of those pics online except for a nicely stagged photo of the double beds. Not the baths or doors or other area of the room so we expected a lot nicer quality based on the other photos of the rooms.

Is an exelent location , near by everything! Staff wonderfull. Is clean , Beautiful view from the room. Very quiet an peaceful, nice pools. To me the room was small , doest have microwave. Beside that , everything is great , at the hotel !!

My daughter was proposed to on the balcony of an ocean front room in the reef building at it was beautiful!!!! The staff worked with our future son in law as well as accompanying needs for the rooms we booked as well! Shout out to Chuck!!! You’re awesome! Ocean front rooms are OCEAN FRONT! Absolutely beautiful.

Irene at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating.
-
The room we were given smelled moldy and the staff was not accommodating . It was not worth the 400 we were charged
-
The bathroom looked and was a bit outdated with peeling paint. The bathroom floor would get extremely wet because the shower curtain would not stay closed or secured to the tub. However the staff was very welcoming. Plus the beach was only a building away.

The full ocean view of my room at the hotel was awesome. That made the stay worthwhile, but for $800 per night I had expected more amenities, not just the bare essentials. Not even bottled water was provided. But the worst was getting to the unit, very confusing, no signs showing which directions to go after using two different elevators. No help with luggage or at least a cart, was provided by the office after checking in.
