Sunset Cove Villas in Laguna Beach

The rooms were clean, kitchen good and had everything you needed. Does need some updating. sofa couch was new & comfortable but dressers, window coverings & carpet in bedroom needs replacing. Location was great, close to restaurants, coffee shop & grocery store and of course the beach!! Does have lots of stairs to beach & common areas, so for little kids or adults with mobility issues would not recommend.

Very clean room, great kitchen, amazing beach view.

The property is in a nice location right on the Laguna waterfront with lots of restaurants and conveniently located adjacent to Ralph’s grocery store. However, the parking was limited to one stall per unit, the bedding was not cleaned before arrival (hairs and stains seen), and very limited kitchen cookware (no colander or cookie sheet or griddle and one size of glasses and two cereal bowls only). The barbecue works but must be shutoff at main or gas leaks can be smelled and the bathroom was one sink and little room around toilet (must have door open) so not much luxury!

For the price point, we expected more, honestly. The kitchen wasn't fully supplied (no coffee filters, nothing to put leftover food in, no tongs for the BBQ, etc), the area rug is old and dingy, the bathroom tray is rusted, worst of all..... You can't even sit out on the deck because the table and chairs are so badly rusted and corroded!!! Not worth the price, sorry.

We’ve been staying at this property for 9 years. The location in town is unbeatable and we love Laguna Beach. Our unit — Calypso — was clean, comfortable and well supplied. We do spend a lot of time on the common area sundeck and the condition of the seating, sun umbrellas and such has deteriorated some, though.
