Front desk person was great. Bed was comfy. The place was not very clean, especially in the common areas like hallways. The carpet needed to be replaced years ago. The GYM EQUIPMENT WAS MOSTLY NONFUNCTIONAL. The neighborhood was not safe after dark, many businesses have bars on doors and windows. I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight. Several guests and I spoke, we all felt dupped by the reviews, like they weren't real unbiased guest. Here is a comparison. If you never ate anything but bread & water, and then someone gives you a half a hotdog, you think that you are king.

The room was clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Only two things I was upset about was the refrigerator not working- at all. The pool was a , cloudy, murky color, you could not see the bottom of the pool- it was one of the reasons I booked so I was bummed out to not get in it.

The actual bathroom was extremely dirty.The bathroom wall clearly had residue of some sort on it.The floors weren't extremely dirty.The walls were dirty, and not to mention the fire alarm went off at 630 am.

The staff workers were nice and helpful. The breakfast was fair. Air conditioning acceptable. The room overall needs to be maintained better. My youngest kids are too small for showers and the handle to change the setting was broken. I had to run the shower for about 20 minutes to get water in the tub!! problem! The towels were old and worn. I went out to purchase my own. I also cleaned as I normally do because the smell isn’t horrible but it’s not pleasant.

The facility itself is needs some money put into it , It’s not being kept up. It has overgrown landscape , Broken columns.It has all the pool chairs and everything are all broken stacked up in a pile. The rooms are outdated. The Staff are amazing! The ladies took very good care of us. That was the best part of our experience was the housekeeping, staff, and the front desk staff. We we’re disappointed that there was holes in the towels, and we could not lay by the pool or sit by the pool because all the chairs have big holes in them and we’re stacked up in a pile!

The location of the hotel and room was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The refrigerator and microwave worked. Best Western Hotels have always been one of my favorite places to stay when traveling. However, at this one, the key card didn't work unless you tried it 5 or 6 times. There was no internet because the "bandwidth" was too small. The phone didn't work so I had to use my cell to call the front desk. Several towels were dingy and unusable, wall plugs had no covers and whatever was plugged in fell out. Lamp plugs were unusable because anything connected fell out of one and the other one was built so that nothing could be plugged in. The sheer window curtain was badly torn. The bathroom floor was clean but it felt like it had been oiled so it was very slippery. The toilet paper holder was rusted out and the bathroom mirror was corroding. The complementary bars of soap were so small you had to use 2 or 3 in the shower. This room definitely needed attention and an upgrade. I would have tried to find another place but was too tired after nearly 10 hours on the road.
