The couch was not comfortable and had no pillows .. maybe part of the Reno not completed yet ? There were no extra blankets or bedding in the closet . Room was quiet and the stay was nice, Check in was easy and staff very friendly . Overall we had a good experience at this hotel.

The staff was amazing but the hotel is in need of an upgrade, a major upgrade renovation which it looks like they were in the middle of, other then that it was a very pleasant stay.

Checked in at front desk. Had trouble understanding staff. Went to our room. Smelled horrible like mildew/mold and cigarettes. A/C wasn’t working properly as it was muggy in the room. Went to front desk to request a different room. They had no other rooms. Choose to leave and go to a different hotel. Clerk would not provide a refund.

Clean room, nice breakfast. Exactly what I would expect out of a one night stay.

We were attending a wedding in Lake Charles and the Holiday Inn Express worked out just fine for our trip. Breakfast was so so but certainly adequate for a hotel breakfast. Would have like some fresh fruit.
