The sheets on the sofabed had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. We found dog food all over and under the beds. Yhe room door had a huge crack in it. However, the hotel lobby was very clean. The 2nd floor ice machine was broken as well.

It was decent probably better than rxpected Pillows could use help and alot of fragrance in hallways like covering up a lingering odor.

Not a stay for a family. A lot of workers staying at the hotel. My room has stains on the bed and a roach in my room.

Enjoyed our stay

I paid extra to book a room with two beds for my family we checked in and the room we got only had one so I went to the desk to ask them to correct the mix up and showed the reservation, figured it was a small mix up. The host responded by saying “what I have is the room you’re in if you don’t like it you can leave.” And walked into the back room

The front desk attendant acted as if our checking in was a huge inconvenience, never a smile or welcome in. I respect this is an older property, but nasty carpets could be cleaned. The room over all I would say was clean, we kept our shoes on, but in very poor repair….rusted lamp, bathroom appeared two different colors of paint and the couch about 50 years old. I could not have been more mislead by prior reviews. The other factor was an additional 100.00 charge for any room damage…to be returned if not needed. But in a trashed room???

I like the fact that this was right off I-10 so it was easy to get to. The rooms smelled bad, there were bugs on the bed, everything had rust on it. There were nasty water stains everywhere. We took a look at the rooms and walk right out. We booked two rooms at a holiday inn for a comparable price that was 100 times cleaner.

The hotel smelled HORRIBLE despite air purifiers being everywhere. The pool was cloudy and had bandaids floating in it. The handicap lift for the pool was cracked and falling apart. Upon arrival, there were French fries on the floor. My daughter pulled the sheets back and there were spiders in the bed. The hotel staff was not helpful or very nice. They didn’t want to refund me. I contacted Expedia customer service and they quickly helped me and got my money back.

Location, nice bed Marriott billed us also along with your billing at an inflated price, double billed that is, and service poor, took us three hours to get our luggage brought up to the room, rude staff, except parking attendants, just over all bad experience

Older hotel but well maintained .. great stay for the price ..

The staff was so accommodating especially the front dest lady I wrote all there names down and lost it but the black lady second shift was the best ever she was always cleaning or helping guest she went above and beyond for me and my mother i actually manage a hotel in Nashville and she gave the type of experience I would want all my guest to have yall are really lucky to have her if I come back to lake Charles im staying only here great job guys I loved it all

How convienient it was to go to the vending machones when something was needed Everything was good, but that we couldnt screen share our phones to the tv

It’s old and out dated. The walls were dirty, rooms stink of smoke and marijuana. High traffic and drug activity. I heard movement all night..This did not make me feel safe!!

The lobby was clean the halls smelt molded Mrs.Pam was amazing she tried to do what she could for us. But the hotel was just nasty

Friendly, courteous staff, room was nice for the days I needed, breakfast was nice as well, it was very close to my destination This woman coming in the dining area, with her big dog, around the food area, I was horrified, I grabbed my food and hurried to my room, that not sanitary, probably would have scored higher if not for that situation, next time leave your pets at your house, they do not belong in anybody hotel, just plain nasty

Room was great and bathroom. Also parking was fair Rate could have been a little lower.
