Best Western Lakewood

As we were walking back to our assigned room, we saw a woman directly below us with a Schanuzer. The next morning, we checked out at 6am and saw the same woman with two Schanuzers - the dogs did not look lke service animals. We reportef it to the main office and we were told that only service animals are allowed in this hotel. We are not coming back to this place.

Staff was lovely.

Service was top notch. Was a pleasant stay and would be happy to stay again in the future if we were in the area.

Overall a good stay

Only drawback was some very loud car engines being revved up until fairly late at night. The staff and facility were excellent.

For the breakfast, the eggs tasted awful, and bacon definitely was fake. Waffles were good.

Ms. J and Ms. S in particular were amazing! From checking in to check out they were lovely and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our entire team feel welcome and well cared for. That being said, any other staff I encountered were just as kind.

We travel a lot and often use BW hotels all over the PNW, because we trust the brand to provide clean, comfortable rooms and great breakfasts to look forward to. This one did not disappoint! The ONLY complaint I could make about this property is that our room smelled like old stale cigarettes from the 1980's. It was pretty strong at 1st but we got used to it and enjoyed a very comfortable bed, minimal noise, plenty of ice, kind and hard working employees, and a breakfast that far exceeded all other Best Western hotels in the region! I was pretty impressed with the large selection of choices available, and actually said "wow!" half way thru the food line. It's well worth a visit, and we plan to stay here for most future visits. I definitely recommend this one! Happy travels.

Three days but not collecting towels and providing clean towels daily. Also garbage didn’t get removed. Had to request to get our room cleaned.

Really clean property with friendly and helpful staff in a quiet and nice part of Lakewood. The buildings are pretty old so expect some dated decor and chipping paint, but I will definitely stay there again.

Checked in and did not receive the King standard that I reserved. Didn’t think much about it until someone tried to enter my room multiple times in the evening thinking that that was their room. I told them to go back to the office because I had checked in hours earlier the next day my room key quit working, so I returned to the office only to learn that they gave me the wrong room at check-in. They were very nice and apologized for the mixup fixed my keys because I wasn’t willing to move rooms after staying one night.

The staff were helpful. Unclean, mold, floor not vacuumed, room really dusty and dirty. I had to clean the whole room and still didn’t feel clean. Decided to leave an hour later.
