TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tacoma Lakewood

Check-in was fast and front desk was extremely helpful. Was able to accommodate for a quiet room. Huge 1 bedroom suite. Close to freeway and about 3 min drive to St Clare hospital. There’s a Denny’s next door.

Very nice hotel the only annoying thing was a smoke detector had a blinking light and it was right in the middle of the room above the bed beds

The room was quiet and we had easy access to the outside to walk our little dogs. The pet fee was higher than we have ever paid!

Nice clean rooms and very nice grass area for pets. The pet deposit is very expensive relative to other hotels, and the amount was not disclosed until AFTER we completed the non-refundable reservation. For that, they lose a star in my rating. Otherwise, nice hotel conveniently located.

My car, which I parked in the hotel parking lot, was badly scratched. I asked the front desk if they could check the hotel's security camera system, but was told that the hotel does not have external security cameras.

Cleanliness and hospitality

Loved being able to cook my meal with all the available utensils. My diet restricts from eating.

Room was clean. Pool area with some broken down/breaking tables. Overhead light didn’t work in bathroom; overall just some simple upkeep areas that would make impact.

Parking

Zero complaints. It was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. I wish it had a hot tub but that’s ok.

Great staff, great breakfast, so so area (commercial), nice room, very comfortable. Great, really great, dog walking area.

It was amazing! My hubby and I enjoyed our stay as we attended our nephews 18th birthday/graduation celebration. Staff was kind and very informative in things to do within the area.

Breakfast was nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was well maintained and clean.

The room was really nice. I am a housekeeper myself so I accidentally find myself looking for things that are not up to standards. It looked very clean when you first walk in. But as I started looking, I noticed the floor wasn't vacuumed, I found a huge hair clip right on the floor next to the bed and night stand, the toilet had a hair on the seat, and a few smudges on the faucets and mirrors. I'm not trying to complain, but all that is a no no where I work. It's a beautiful hotel though. It needs a indoor pool for sure.
