Comfort Inn & Suites Lakewood by JBLM

Very clean and quiet room. Great breakfast

We were delighted to find it was near the train tracks, and we found an outstanding family owned Sushi restaurant quite nearby. The main disappointment was the staff were completely disinterested in patrons or requests, and when we arrived, they had the lobby closed off while they were spray painting the loading zone.

They were prompt and happy to help, regardless of the time (early in the morning or late at night). So dedicated.

The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely appointed.

The room was fine. Staff was not super friendly. Didn’t make it to the breakfast.

The hotel itself was great. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. It was nice and quiet. Plenty of parking. I was glad to see the security camera sign in the parking lot. The neighborhood/surrounding areas were ghetto. It located next to and across from motels, auto shops, tire shops, loan cash store, a gun store, storage place, etc. There were food options around but I would recommend to drive there and lock the car door once you get in, just in case.

Great staff, Less rooms and quicker property

Good stay. Room was above average. Breakfast was short of a few items

Close to Thornewood Castle Our room was still dirty and not clean when we arrived after three pm, but they gave us another room and apologized for the inconvenience.

It is more of an industrial part of town with warehouses and old motels nearby. But that is very typical of this area. Nice hotel with nice staff. Clean and nice breakfast variety.

Very expensive for the small space. First room, sink clogged. I definitely felt judged for the “price” I paid (I got a good discount). It felt classist by staff (everyone was warmly greeted but I didn’t get the same experience). The place did seem understaffed so I don’t want to be unreasonable.

Coffee was cold in the morning. Breakfast was cold. Had to ask for housekeeping at night. Not good like 5 years ago.

The cleanliness

Staff was always helpful. Responsive to concerns. Will stay again when I’m in Tacoma

We were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. Nice to have a separate sitting area for TV, etc. Handy fridge. The bedside lamps are nice. Enough outlets and charging outlets conveniently placed. Quiet at night. The breakfast was also good. Real friendly front desk staff. The shower head is really high, wife couldn't reach to adjust it.

Nice, modern hotel convenient to Lakewood and Tacoma. Breakfast was okay, but not the best I've seen at a Comfort Inn. Staff was nice and helpful.
