Causeway Bay Hotel

Bed skirts were torn, window drapes were stained and dirty. Light bulbs were missing in every lamp or not working. I had to remove bulbs from one lamp to make another work. Hot water did not flow from the sink. The faucet was leaking. On the positive note, there was a microwave that worked and the little fridge that also worked. We only had a one night stay so I accepted all the shortcomings. Out of the three elevators, the newest one did not move so after standing inside for over a minute we had to open the door and go back to the old one. The old one did not have buttons that lit up so it was not possible to tell if the floor you pressed was on. It did finally take us to the floor, but it was noisy and gave you a feeling it would break any moment. The panel under the buttons was open and wires were sticking out with garbage inside. Parking lot in the back was horrible and not maintained at all. Trash was everywhere and overgrown with weeds. It felt very unsecure and I decided to park by the front entrance. Tree branches were not trimmed and overgrown into the driveway. Lobby furniture and carpet were very worn and looked like it was not taken care of for 20 years. This is a very low budget establishment that needs a lot of maintenance and servicing. Breakfast was advertised which is on of the reasons I selected this hotel. Unfortunately the kitchen is out of order, there is no breakfast, the pool and spa are also out of order. Wi-Fi did not work either.

The shower was okay. Location was decent Everything else was terrible. Not that clean, elevators were terrible, staff was blah.

Rooms could have used a little more cleaning. I mean it was okay for a no frills cheap stay. The parking was very limited. Staff was nice just not the cleanest place we’ve stayed at.

This place is a joke. No amenities, I had warn almost cold water to shower with, I killed 2 roaches in a 3 day stay. I was on the 5th floor the wifi did not work up there. It was so many people in the lobby using the wifi because it didn't reach to folks room. The blanket on top felt like paper. The air barley worked.

The stuff advertised is no longer available and they don't always give you the room you reserved and some of the things in the room don't work mostly the coffee pot

It was clean but they had an ant and small roach problem on the 5th floor. The fact that the pool and bar and lounge are closed is sad plus no wifi when all those things are advertised is not good but overall it's a great place

I liked how clean it was but as far as price it could have been lower considering I saw a few roaches in my room and there was none of the things available that was offered like breakfast and everything else was closed ( pool, bar, lounge) no ice available no vending machines and they offered wifi and they had none and you won't know until you check in. But overall now that I know this I will still recommend it

Restaurant is closed. No toilet paper or tissues in barhrooms(we had 2 rooms) no wifi or cable TV. But for $70 what do you expect, besides toilet paper.
