Motel 6 Laramie, WY

Dirty unmaintained left never stayed and front desk would not answer the phone don’t book here!!!

The room was clean and tidy, new but basic furniture, bed was comfortable, not overly noisy considering the proximity to the highway. No microwave, no fridge, ice machine was broken. It is budget so you get what you pay for. First staff member was quite unfriendly, second person we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Overall not too bad though.

It provided a needed rest an that was all. Location was convenient

The room was clean. So ok to sleep in one night. They had no ice and the ice machine has been out for a month. The tv was hard to watch. The air conditioning did not work. For the cost it definitely was not worth it!

There was no shampoo available other then at $3.50 bottle out of the vending machine. Also, the room had no blow dryer.

It had a clean bathroom. We were deceived, it is not a Motel 6 because it did not meet certain standards, it is now Cowboy Inn. We wouldn't have stayed if we knew it wasn't Motel 6. The room was hot, the vents were full of dust which caused me to have sinus issues and I had to sleep sitting up. The ice machine was broke, so I couldn't keep my medicine cold. I received an email that certain amenities were not available because of a covid 19 outbreak and I wouldn't have booked there had I known that, but my confirmation said I would be charged if I cancelled. We paid almost $200 and we would have rather slept in our car if it had a bathroom.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Bed was hard! Rooms were very dated. No shampoo, no Kleenex.

Not even a Motel 6 anymore. Disgustingly dirty and smelly.

Stay at your own risk. We love using motel 6 bc of our dog, but this location is ROUGH. Literally walked into our room and knew we couldn’t stay. The beds were visibly U shaped from being so old, peephole had tissues stuffed in it, floor had deep scratch gouges in it, mold growing around the shower and toilet. The front desk staff was nice about us declining to stay. It’s beside a police station, but plenty of sketchy characters hanging out in the field adjacent to property.

Staff was helpful however, the shower head broke when we turned the shower on and the AC wasn't working at all out was just a fan blowing. There were actually no inside working parts for the AC in the room.

I booked it thinking it was motel 6 it's no longer a motel six and needs a lot of maintenance. The whole deal was poor. I have asked Booking .com for help with a refund for the 2nd day of the reservation with the new motel owners and I still have not received anything.

On Expedia it said Motel 6, with a rating of 6.8. Not bad, I thought. But when I got there, I was angry to find out that I had been duped. If I had seen the photos of what it was really like, I would not have stayed there. They need to change their name immediately and put up new pictures because what they’re showing right now is really a bait and switch.

Staff was friendly and polite however, this property is no longer a Motel 6. All Motel 6 branding has been removed. Signage and badges gone from all areas. Paint was rusted and peeling in several areas. Access to certain rooms was closed. Giant pothole in the middle of the parking lot. Toilet did not flush properly, cigarette burn on blanket and curtain. I left after 5 hours and canceled my next day. No problems at all with staff, just didn't like the accommodation

Lukewarm shower, no amenities

The room was really bad. Only thing that was acceptable was the shower. Looked like a new shower stall inserted into a severely worn out bathroom, and hotel unit. one clean towel. no soap or shampoo provided. The bed was made, but the linens were used and dirty. The rodeo was going on, and there were what appeared to be 10 or 15 male Hispanic rodeo workers sitting on the ground, 3 units to the left of mine, drinking alcohol at 2 AM . And they were very loud. The entire night was a really bad experience. I didn't get any sleep at all. And I paid over 100$ for 1 night. didn't like anything about my stay.

would be nice if they had a microwave or fridge in the room. otherwise it was good

The property is due for maintenance all around

Front Counter People were friendly and worked with me on a late checkout due to having to wait for people to pick me up because I had become stranded during my trip. The room was clean and comfortable I was without transportation so the location wasn't the best as it was a little out of town which made being able to go get any food difficult and the only option I had was to eat things out of the vending machines but I think the location also made it a little more secure compared to other budget motels I have stayed at. There were no sketchy people hanging out in the parking lots like is so common at other places
