Comfortable bed, friendly owner. New ice maker. Older motel, like many in Las Vegas, but a nice place to relax. Everything was good!

I was instantly greeted by Jim, he was very kind. I have never been in this city, so a friendly face is always a great start. The room was clean and comfortable. And the area being off of a main road was actually pretty quiet. I intend on staying here for the duration of my 13-week contract. I don’t really have anything that could be better, I’m a travel nurse so I quite literally just get a hotel for sleep. So day to day I was exceptionally happy

To address some of the negative reviews, they were people who had champagne taste on a beer budget. Like this ain't a five star hotel. It doesn't pretend to be though. For the extremely low cost, it delivered more value than the price. It was clean, comfortable enough and had four walls and a roof, which was all we were looking for. Yes, it's a little dated, but if you're expecting something more modern and updated with lots of amenities, be ready to pay 2-3 times the price as this place. If you're looking for a clean and quiet place to sleep, run by the friendliest owner you could hope for, this is the place. Just understand that you get what you pay for. We did look at "fancier" places, but in the end we were looking for lower cost vs. a getting a bunch of bells and whistles, so Sunshine Motel was just what the doctor ordered. It was convenient and suited our purpose and if you're on a budget this is a gem. If you're wanting something higher end, nothing wrong with that, but don't complain about this place not being what you want because for the price it is more than adequate. The rooms did smell like they had been smoked in before but I mean it's an older motel. I really can't complain too much because other than that it was just fine. If you're sensitive to smoke, you might reconsider but other than that, this is a fair deal for a fair price.

Owner was very friendly, the room was clean and comfy, everything worked. I really like the benches outside. A cool, older hotel - with some updates done, and it needs a few more to be an 8

The first nights stay was terrible. The bed was lumpy, the pillows small, the air conditioner was hard to regulate, We ran out of TP, and there were no cups. On our return trip the room was much better.

Good location. Place felt tired. And water wasn’t drinkable (given bottled by management), but that made my partner nervous about showering.

It exceeded my expectations. I’ve stayed at many motel6’s in the lastt 3 yrs. This easily was better than any of those by far! Nothing!

Have stayed here many times over the last 20yrs. It has new management and the place is clean and affordable and overall good accommodations.

Not too bad

I booked on Booking.com for a 3:00 - 9:30 pm check-in. I arrived at 9:26 pm and the note on the locked front door indicated that they were all booked. I rang the bell and no answer. I saw the TV playing in the back room and knocked on the door and no answer. I called the phone number and no answer. I had to go down the block to another motel. Nice little flower baskets and benches outside of the rooms. It was quiet. SUPER cool guy (manager I think) even mailed me our lost car keys—no charge. The bed was not very comfy unfortunately. Probably just an older mattress. I think the room had been smoked in.

Beds were ok as was shower. Location was good. No coffee maker in room, carpet had 3 tears in it with duct tape over them. Office had no one there most of the time. Tv had satellite cable but not many sports channels.

Old,filthy carpets in the room. Other than that,a great place.

Clean, comfortable room. The gentleman who ran it was very professional. We would definitely stay there again. If you are looking for just an inexpensive clean bed and bath, then this is the place.

Male staff was very professional and helpful. The room was exactly as described from the booking, excellent rate, beds were very comfortable to sleep on, room was very clean. This hotel was one of the older hotels in the area and does show it's age but it kept us warm, comfortable and had no issues. Would we stay here again; "Absolutely!" Met the new owners who are taking on the BIG chore of 'remodeling'. I advised them that we'd probably see them on the next trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Nothing at this time.
