We enjoyed our stay

We paid for a corner suite upgrade. The bedroom did not have working air conditioning. Despite us complaining about this multiple times, the air conditioner was never fixed, we were not moved to a different unit and we were not given a refund. I also asked housekeeping for a room fan and they told me they didn’t have any on the property. I asked the IP concierge for a fan and they miraculously found one for our room. Also most of the lights and window covering are controlled by tablets. The tablets were not hooked up to wi fi and could not be controlled that way. They did at least give us more food and drink credits.

So many issues! a) Room service got my order wrong BOTH DAYS! b) My lights/drapes controls stopped working and it took almost 15 MINUTES before someone picked up at the front desk. It was 1:30am and I just wanted to go to sleep but I couldn't turn my lights off or close my drapes and it took waay too long for someone to answer the call. c) I had a Food & Beverage credit but I constantly had to call the front desk to get them to remove the food charges from my room account. Multiple days, multiple charges that I had to get them to remove from my bill. Ridiculous. It should've been automatic. But instead I had to micro manage the hotel so that I wouldn't be charged for the food. And each time I called the front desk, it took a long time before someone even picked up. They do NOT answer calls quickly at this hotel, clearly they are waay understaffed. d) It took me 20 MINUTES TO CHECK OUT FROM THE ROOM!!! because there was a food charge on my account that had to be removed...took me almost 10 minutes before someone picked up the call at the front desk, then she kept giving me contradictory information about the F&B credit, eventually hung up on me, I had to call back, was put on hold and then the line disconnected, had to call back a 3rd time, took a while before someone answered, she finally was able to remove the charge for me, then when I went to check out on the TV, it kept giving me an error message, so I had to figure out how to check out another way.

However the room was not great, the sheer curtains wouldn’t close properly and made a very loud screeching noise when the remote tried to close them, they were also hanging off the rail, poor A/C, bathroom sink kept getting blocked, we spoke to the front desk on the 1st day, but no one came to the room and if they came while we were out, it wasn’t fixed. Reception Staff were just ok, have certainly experienced MUCH better at other hotels. Would have to be an exceptional deal for me to stay there again.

Everything I wish get more food court!

Unfortunately, I did end up waiting in the line to get bottled water... when I had called front desk inquiring about the water, I was told I can ask for as many as I wanted. When I did line up to ask for water, the lady capped me at "2 bottles per customer". I ended up lining up again and another person (William) helped me who said we can have as many as we would like and there was no limit on how much we needed. Overall, I enjoy the hotel and overall space of the rooms.

Very nice and clean

Clean and comfortable room!! No fridge for storage or microwave. Great place to stay.

Nice property
-
Also, lights would not turn on in the morning and needed to call lobby for a system reboot.

Although the room was cleaned everyday, it was not thorough. There was garbage left on one of the tables all weekend. The rooms themselves are getting worn out which is a function of the hotel being used frequently. The pool area is nice but get there early on the weekend if you want a lounger. The breakfast area market was a nice function as well.

This was our first time staying at Aria. To start the entrance was beautiful. I was very impressed with their fitness room. It was spacious and had ample equipment. The gym is important for me. We really liked proper eats food hall for a quick bite with variety. Would most definitely stay there again.

Worked out great for the concert at the Chelsea did not have to leave the building

Very disappointing experience, especially for a luxury hotel. We waited over an hour just to check in, then didn’t receive our second room until 8:38 PM, even though we were told it would be ready at 4:00 PM. One room smelled like marijuana, housekeeping didn’t clean our room or replace towels until we called twice, and I was injured by an exposed sharp piece of metal in the pool restroom, which cut two of my fingers. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this was by far one of the most disappointing experiences. I expected much better service and maintenance from ARIA.

The restaurant wait times are a bit much. Only 1 valet guy with a horrible. Hotel check in staff were amazing!
