Golden Gate Hotel and Casino

Charged $80 for parking even though I was a guest. Had to wait a week to be reimbursed. Staff seemed like they were straight out of the movie Casino. Will never enter this place again. Peace

I booked through Expedia. I booked a 2 double queen bed as i saw the picture was too small but they gave me a queen bed.

I did like we were allowed to check in early, and check out late. Yes there is a fee per hour for late check out. The air conditioning worked great! It was nice and clean as well.

My room is extremely noisy I only have few hours of sleep. I asked the staff to change my room but I was given ear plugs :( instead. You need ID or key card to enter the hotel, I don’t know why. So inconvenient.

Good experience with the staff and hotel overall. The bed was not overly comfy but we survived. When they say it’s gets kind of loud if you take a view of Fremont street they aren’t kidding Unless you want to potentially be awake until 2am take the interior room.

I loved how when we arrived, the staff was welcoming and answered all questions we had. Staff was also able to recommend some places to hang out and eat that aren’t too crowded. I don’t have complaints.

Staff has to let the guests know the inner rooms will be noisy because of ventilation.

I love the history of the Golden Gate Hotel. Proceed with caution and comb the fine print. Despite being told total for taxes and fees, that line was not accurate. Some listings have the resort fee included, while other listings have the resort fee in the fine print.
