Clean room, the staff was helpful and kind do it. Parking was a problem, it was supposed to be free but room card wasn't working right, had to pay and go get money back.

California Hotel & Casino is my go-to spot in Vegas. Close to Fremont Street but not on top of the noise and madness. Great price and amenities. The manager, Evan Myer, is the best: professional, responsive, courteous and accommodating!

We had just a couple of issues. The shower and toilet are in a very small room, so it's difficult to go in and close the door for any privacy. The casino is close to Fremont Street and some low volume noise is noticeable, but it ends around midnight so it's not a huge problem. The only restaurant with take out closes at 9:00 if you want to eat in your room.

It's location is perfect in Downtown Vegas , Fremont St is a place you could never miss. It's just a corner away from the Hotel,, very closed. very convinient.. Self Carpark is super friendly , elevator straight to the hotel lobby. Staff are helpful, will come again !

One incident... late night dinner/diner in the hotel is great, and very busy on Friday/Saturday nights... don't sit at the bar... service was poor and inattentive... I want to believe it was because of how busy it was...but I also noticed that the servers treated me, my 2 friends, and another couple at the poor in a gruff and begruding manner... we all are Black... then the one couple at the end were treated promptly with smiles and such... White... We all noticed. Otherwise I will stay at the hotel again for sure!

Very professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The housekeeper assigned to my room was the BEST, taking excellent care of my room.

My experience was Great! I only wished the pool area was more attractive with an outdoor bar. ( was hot needed a cocktail)

Staff is very welcoming, attentive and always courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. They make you feel like family (the Aloha Spirit!)

On the sad side the black jack dealer (female) was not very friendly though and she was on the edge of being very rude to me and my husband. She had lived in Hawaii but had no Aloha at all.
