MainStay Suites Las Vegas Flamingo

Stayed here 5 nights and 6 days no room service had to take dirty towels to front desk for new towels and had to remove trash ourselves. And beds were horrible. I’ve never stayed in hotel where you had to get your own towels and take out your own trash and they charge for every lil thing fork cup plate spoon cup pot like who’s running off with the kitchen supplies? Wish I would have went with my 1st mind and hotel to stay at! I spent way too much to not be Happy!!

It was a good hotel for 1 night! Ac was good, spacious!!

Convenient location a little East of the Las Vegas Strip. We reserved this for the kitchenette (mostly the fridge for my meds and cold storage). The room lacked minor things that the staff probably could have provided if we asked, but we always pack these things, just in case (like a laundry bag). There was no dresser but we were able to hang clothing or keep it in the luggage (the room was a good size). We were only there for 2 nights. As for the hotel itself, keep your room key handy as it’s needed to get back in all day long unless the front desk is not busy and the let you in (Security is tight! I am okay with that). The last note is to be very patient with their elevators. They are Slooooww… Good thing there are only three floors.

Room didn't match the quality of the photo I saw online. A bit deceptive. Seemed like an old room. The decor or lack of decor inside was old, but clean at least. The TV was very small and old.

A great place to stay @ a great value

I gave 4 stars because the room and hotel in general was clean, secure, and the staff was very friendly. The kitchen could use some descent pans and the couch was really small and uncomfortable. We couldn't get the tv to work when we got there so tried to call down to the front desk but it didn't work either, so I walked down and they said they would have maintenance come up but they never showed up. I finally figured out the tv was a loose wire, so we just had to make sure it stayed plugged in when we moved the tv. The drains were partially plugged so we bought some liquid plumber that helped. The location was okay; it's off the strip which is what we were looking for but it is next to a social services help center so there were a few homeless people in the area, but we didn't have any problems, and it was quiet. They do allow pets and we ended up with some yappy little dog next to us which was a bit annoying every time we walked by the door or sat on the couch to relax. If you stay here, I would recommend bringing a bag with dish soap (if you don't want to use the dish washer every night which is the only kitchen soap they provide), salt and pepper, cooking spray, paper towels/napkins, a scrubber sponge for washing dishes or any little stuff you might need for cooking and cleaning up, they provide very little which is understandable. They have vending machines with some items that you may have forgotten. Overall, it was good for a lower budget hotel in Vegas.

Property is dated and not in the greatest part of town.

Only sheet on bed could of used a blanket in room and pillows were very flat

Nice clean place to stay even had a kitchenette in it. The room was big and very comfortable and quiet.

Like that it had a pool and pet friendly Loud noises in hall ways during sleeping hours

I really like the property - my first time to go to Las Vegas - the location is very convenient to markets , restaurants and accessible. I will recommend to friends and relatives .

Terrible hotel! The room was actually nice and clean and that is the only positive thing I can say. Everything else in the property was dirty. I felt very unsafe around the property. Homeless people hanging out around the hotel all the time and people smoking around all the property. Random people hanging out around the property. It was sad we had only one entrance to get in the hotel and out. This was done I assume because of a safety issue. The drink coolers had to be locked up until the hotel clerk will unlock when you wanted to purchase a drink. The staff looked scary with tattoos and earrings and looking like they were on drugs along the people always hanging out at the hotel. Because of the safety issue we had to walk forever in the hotel to get to our room. Wouldn’t use outdoor pool for safety issues as well. Mainstays need to clean up the hotel from management down. This is not an acceptable hotel. It felt like I was staying at some homeless shelter. The pictures from the app is nothing like what I saw in person. I don’t think I will use Mainstay hotels again. Need to take care of the hotels and address issues so guests feel more safe here. Wish I could be compensated for the horrible experience my wife and I had to endure.

Outside air temp 102*~Checked in late (9:30pm) booked 2 rooms, both rooms were 95+ degrees. Not exaggerating-Air conditioning was not on. It was awful- rooms finally cooled to 78 degrees at 4am.

My key csrd eouldnt work all three days of my stay. Slep on the coich in the lobby the first night waitin for someone to give me another key. The walk to the front door was crazy should juztbe able to use your card to get in the side door. My remote for the rv didnt work!
