SpringHill Suites by Marriott Las Vegas Convention Center

I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years whenever I attended the Las Vegas Convention. However, due to the completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and deceptive behavior of the staff, I will absolutely never return.Back in June, I booked 4 rooms for a 5-day stay via Expedia. When I arrived to check in August, the front desk staff claimed the hotel was overbooked due to an "Expedia error." They instructed us to spend the first night at a different hotel and return the following day.We followed their instructions and stayed elsewhere for the night. However, when we returned the next day, the staff shamelessly claimed that our reservation was "automatically canceled because we were a No-Show."We were forced to waste 2 hours stranded in the lobby, arguing with staff who refused to take responsibility for their own mistakes and instructions. In the end, we had no choice but to scramble and find another hotel entirely.I have never experienced such terrible, fraudulent treatment in my entire life. They pushed us out due to overbooking and then used "No-Show" as an excuse to cancel our entire 5-day multi-room reservation. Expedia needs to investigate this hotel’s fraudulent handling of reservations and issue a full refund immediately.

They charged my card for the room even though the room was prepaid. Rude and don’t know how to do their job properly. I was charged twice and then was told to call tomorrow to get it fixed.

It was in a less crowded area. Easy to come in and out. Complimentary breakfast options were good. The room had older HVAC systems. We walked in and it smelled like Mildew. The parking system was automated and there wasn’t much information from the reception desk or s live number to call.

This is a great location to walk to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Also they have free laundry facilities available. That's unheard of. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and the staff overseeing it were excellent! Check in was my only complaint. I understood I couldn't check in several hours early however they didn't have room to hold my luggage which was a duffel bag.

Easy, breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the swimming pool, even if it was a bit cold.

It was a great property for what we needed it for. Would stay here again

The staff was the best! Very professional and friendly. Hotel was very clean, the breakfast was well-stocked. Beds were comfortable. We stayed at Mandalay Bay a few days early and Springhill's beds were much better!

This did everything that you would expect from a Marriott hotel. Large rooms, comfy beds and a good breakfast with lots of variety. We had a high floor room with great views. We all slept well and enjoyed our time in Vegas with the hotel providing a safe and welcoming space. However, having stayed in a few Marriott properties there were a few minor glitches which stopped this being a 5 star review. On check in the parking system would not take a UK phone number (or any other non US number) this caused a bit of a delay. However, the lady on the front desk went over and above to sort this for us. Whilst the room was clean, there were only 2 towels (we had booked for 5 people) and there was no shower gel (two shampoos!). The staff were again quick to make this right. On the last morning we also noticed splotches of blood (not ours) on one of the duvets which we would have asked to be switched. With regards to amenities, the AC in the gym was not cool enough to allow for exercise and the roof top pool is much smaller than the photos would suggest. However, the free laundry service was an unexpected bonus. All in all, this hotel did what we needed it to at a reasonable price for a weekend in vegas as part of a longer trip. It was perhaps further from the Strip than we anticipated, but used the free parking at the Malls and Treasure Island to overcome this.

Clean room, good value, and quiet! It was nice to be out of the casino environment but still be in a central location that made it easy to access the strip and downtown.

Perfect location, right to Convention Centre . Nice reception. Room was comfortable with nice city view. Hotel has swimming pool on the top, small but nice. It lacked cleanliness, and the bed linen was stained. Although we clearly stated at the time of booking that there would be three people, the bed for the child was not prepared. The parking policy is unclear as well. Breakfast was very basic.

It had everything we needed and we were put on the 22nd floor which I loved! The pool was small and the breakfast wasn't great, there was no decent creamer for the coffee
