We were first given room 109 and it had a really strong smelled of mold we then moved to the top floor and was fine.
-
Pretty dated but it worked.

The room was clean.Bed was reasonably comfortable. Parking was good. Breakfast items were varied however, the hot breakfast was definitely not hot and there was not any staff to keep tables and serving areas clean. The trash receptacles looked like they had not been cleaned/wiped down at the very least for several days.

From the moment we walked in it reeked a pot and you could tell it was dirty. There was a couple of cars in the parking lot with homeless people sleeping in them. We were given our first room. It had black mold on the wall under the sink. We asked for a second room. It did smell less like mold, but I had a sore throat the entire time I was there. And it would get better as soon as I left. No one swim in the pool. Even though it looked to be working, I think everybody was too scared to touch it. Everything they are, including breakfast was just kind of mediocre and based on the dirtiness of the motel, we were too scared to touch. Ended up, leaving a day early. We could not get out of there soon enough. Have not brought any of the items into my house instead of taking them to a laundromat to laundry because I fear they have bugs on them. It was so gross. We would be in bed and the smell of pot would just be infiltrating our room from the other rooms and under the door as well. Other people in their groups, their TVs didn’t work. And at one point, the power flashed completely off. Thankfully came back on.

However, I didn’t appreciate the cleaning staff barging in the room, without knocking, a full hour before check-out time. Then, when my husband went out of the room, the staff questioned him about whether he was out of the room yet. Kinda pushy.

Would like b biscuits and gravy and country ham or bacon as breakfast options.

Room and hallway smelled musty, parking was atrocious, bathroom walls peeling, toilet lid would not stay up, pillows made for kids, AC unit was sticking out in room and very noisy. Would not recommend it. Need a refund as I did not get any sleep!

The parking at this facility is horrible. Everybody is parked crooked because the lines are messed up. I consider us lucky to have found the one space to park. The staff at check-in was polite and helpful. I recieved my key card and went to the room to strip the beds for routune bug inspection. As soon as I opened the room I could smell and feel dank humidity. I know rooms may sit empty for a couple of days and the a/c was turned on so I brought my partner and belongings inside. We arrived late so we immediately dressed for bed and once there we noticed the mold on the ceiling, then on the lampshade, then the water damage on the walls, then the slug on the wall because of the moisture. That room had been in bad shape for some time and not closed-off to guests until repair. There was an obvious attempt to paint over mold as well. There will be no returning for us.

Great place

The room smelled like cat pee.

Room was ok, nothing exceptional. Breakfast was mediocre. Lacking items, but the lady doing breakfast was helpful.

My husband and I are disabled, traveling with our service dog and camper. We camped for 2 weeks and stayed at hotels a long the way home. This hotel was significantly cheaper than the competitors. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows a dream. But the gentleman at the front desk was exceptional, he allowed us to park the camper right in front of bc we could not fit in the parking lot. He also was able to get us on the first floor. Very welcomed hospitality when you are just exhausted. Thank uou you again

Wasn’t terrible but was an older facility with some areas unkept and dirty. Rooms were ok for a one night stay while traveling

No ice machines working…. Dirty towels all over the hallway floors….room was ok but the rest of the hotel needs major updating!
-
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was pretty basic.

Great price for a great location. Hotel is in need of an update - but the staff is friendly and helpful and my room was always very clean. Its a good stay if you are budget minded

We had a lovely stay but there were a few issues. There was a dresser drawer that wouldn't stay shut and I text the number they sent me but they never responded and I got too busy to follow up. The toilet paper holder was loose and the paper kept falling on the floor. The bathroom fan didn't work. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The one staff member we spoke to was polite. It's not far from anywhere we needed to go and was super close to the turnpike. The hallway was really hot and the elevator was jumpy. It was a good experience and recommended.

Good price and location. Room and hallway smelled like cat urine. Springs were poking through mattress.

End of May, 2 day visit. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was accommodative. Breakfast was more than adequate. TV access and usability was the best I have experienced in a 2nd tier motel: a very appreciated feature. The outdoor presentation is unfortunately very unimpressive -enough to turn many away, I would guess. Too bad. It was well worth the cost and a walkable distance to the KU campus.
