Motel 6 Lenexa, KS - Kansas City Southwest

Staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in was fast. Parking availability near room wasn’t close, the concrete stairs and walkways were in alot of need or repair. The room inspected immediately on entry: 2 full beds extremely basic and minimal, sheets, pillows and “blanket” very thin, appeared clean except, for long black curly hairs I found in both beds, who made the beds beds to pull m hair back, so that was a bit unpleasant. I found small short black hairs in several towels (not head hairs if you know what I mean) those were immediately not to be used. The floor was filthy, they were hard surfaces and there were yucky substances throughout so I told everyone don’t walk barefoot. walls, gross! Food smears, more “unknown” substance smears on the walls near the bed obviously the walls never get cleaned down, easily needs mopped or towel cleaned. Add CLEAN WALLS to the to-do list. So gross. vents to include bedroom and bathroom were covered with more dust than air could come out, to think of breathing that in was bad. must add to their to-do list DUST VENTS. Couldn’t use the shower because there was SO much brown gunk DIRT on the shower base/floor I was able to wipe up dirt with toilet paper, it clearly could be cleaned but hasn’t been, we had no shower shoes so we couldn’t take showers. This was the WORST part, we needed showers by this time it was late so we slept and checked out early. If cleaned this motel wouldn’t be so awful. Nice area but Police patrol it,red flag

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at

The air conditioner in the room did not work, even in the middle of the night. And it was making an awful noise.

Very dirty sent us to five different rooms all not clean and I’m still waiting on my refund

Expedia, we love you, but do yourself a favor and remove this Motel 6 location from your roster. The one bright spot was Expedia's customer service. They handled the situation professionally and promptly refunded the hotel portion of our travel package. Thank you, Expedia, for making things right.

Stay was alright. Room was clean. The a/c was pretty humid and made all our things feel slightly damp all week. Decent place if you’re spending most of your trip away from the hotel and just sleeping there. Wish a microwave and mini fridge were included, but we knew upon booking they weren’t. Prices very affordable

​The Experience The condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon arrival, it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority; the room was infested with cockroaches, making it impossible to feel comfortable or hygienic. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit was failing, leaving the room stuffy and hot. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was marred by a pervasive, unpleasant smell of stale cigarettes and alcohol that clung to the room. ​The Highlights To be fair, there are only two minor positives to note: ​Convenient Location: The property is situated in an accessible area that is easy to find. ​Parking: Parking is available and was not an issue during my stay. ​Conclusion While the convenience of the location and the ease of parking are notable, they do not compensate for the significant lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort in the rooms. I would suggest exploring other lodging options in the Lenexa area to ensure a much better experience.

I regretted to chose this hotel, it was dirty, smells like weed all the time, and It was awful staying there. My bad! I have to make better decisions

There were bugs in the room, including a cockroach. The beds were very uncomfortable with stuliff and noisy springs. There was water damage and what looked like mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Might have been acceptable for 50 or 60 dollars, but spending over a hundred after taxes and fees just expected more.

Could barely understand woman at check in!! I had reserved 2 rooms. 1had roaches and other spiders!! Price was outrageous but due to World Soccer Games, rooms were very difficult to find!! Plainly said just DON’T STAY HERE!!!
