I’ve been going to the Fairbridge Inn for years. Although I have never crossed the railroad tracks to the nice park along the river. Pretty nice!

Ended up checking in and then checking right back out traveling with my 2 year old and when we got in the elevator seemed like it could break down at any moment, upon arriving in our floor there were pills on the floor went in the room and used the bathroom as I had been driving for hours and there was black in the toilet. Booked the hotel for the pool solely, but upon arrival was told it was closed for cleaning and wouldn’t be open til Monday. We could use the hot tub if we liked. Again I was traveling with my 2 year old. Called and tried to get some kind of refund and was told I was charged by the property and the property told me I was charged through Expedia so I just had to eat the money Needless to say motel not as advertised

For an older building, this hotel is maintained exceptionally well. I can tell the staff and ownership really care about keeping the building clean and providing the amenities such as ice machines clean towels, vending machines, breakfast etc top notch. It is an old building in occasionally there was a smell or a feel of an old building but it wasn't trashy or dirty and I really appreciate the staff strives hard to present it in a tip-top shape. Also the price was very reasonable and I all together I had a very comfortable night stay.

DANGEROUS & FILTHY CONDITIONS — DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked two rooms for a family memorial service following a 15-hour drive. We were completely exhausted, but instead of a safe sanctuary, we found severe health hazards and structural code violations. The most alarming issue is the elevator: the doorway frame is literally held in place by black duct tape. Because it made us nervous, we tried to use the stairs, but you can only go down. The stairwell doors lock from the outside, preventing guests from using them to return to their rooms. Furthermore, neither of our room doors had functional deadbolts, and there was a massive gap between the door and the frame. The property is entirely neglected. The pool is a shocking, stagnant neon green (nothing like the photos online). Inside the rooms, the shower heads are clogged with thick grime, the bathtub valve trim plate is detached from the wall, and there is visible mold around the toilet. The walls were covered in coffee drips, light switches were filthy, and the mini-fridge was completely broken and flooded with water. To top it off, our keys failed multiple times, leaving us locked out late at night. We evacuated for our safety. Absolute nightmare.

Nick and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful with our accessibility issues. Nothing

NOTHING Room was booked for a 4-night stay for my grandson and fiancée. They stayed the first night but had issues with the room. Management was contacted and made aware of the issues and said they would talk with them when they returned to do what they could to rectify the issues. Grandson said issues weren't resolved and that they would not stay there another night and left the property.

It was disappointing. Location was questionable, facilities were questionable. The pool was a sickly green-unusable. The air conditioner did not cool the room. The beds and bedding were old, sheets were not fitted properly. The room was carpeted and The pictures online must have been from years ago. The river view was over the railroad tracks. We saw homeless individuals along the tracks. All outside doors seemed to be freely open 25/7. The outside parameter was stained and had cigarette litter. Halls and stairways has the smell of cigarette smoke in spite of no smoking status. On arrival an employee(?) had a huge pile of clothing littering the lobby. Unlike other pet friendly hotels they would not waive the pet fee for our ESA 15 year old dog. The breakfast had waffles which were good but other offerings were sparse. Overall it was just old. We stayed at other hotels that although similarly rated were much better and a lower price. The booking.com price quoted was honored for one night but the second night was higher. The price especially with the added pet fee was definitely too high for what we got. I wish i had checked the facility physically rather rely on the pictures which were clearly from a much earlier time. See above. We endured but would never stay again. One redeeming factor was the seedy but great taco place across the street and the amazing Japanese steak house next door. The motor cycle club

Price and staff A bit run down

No one to check us on waited 15 mins then they showed up the room door lock was old and had to push hard on handle to get into room the air conditioner was old and noisy not to much cold air came out and the breakfast was nasty the gravey for the biscuit looked like it had sat in there a few days 2 kinds of cereal will a 1/4 milk in jug and they opened at 5:30 and we were there at 6 not much to eat so we packed up and drove down the road for breakfast this place definitely needs better caring staff and some updates

Arrived, gave me a key, went to room and someone in it, front desk said sorry but sold out. No help to resolve so I had to go to another hotel and pay last minute rates. Place was dirty as well
-
Honestly, the place is dirty! Pubes in the shower, knarly bunches of mattress rolled up through the sheets. I thought it was the under matress cover, but no.. it was the outer casing of the mattress. All loose and used beyond its usable date.
-
Nice location and clean view room. Rooms are clean, but dated. Common areas tend to be dated and could use more cleaning.
-
friendly helpful staff. clean rooms. comfortable bed.

The complimentary breakfast was not great, the fruit looked dated the waffle mix was out, the milk for the cereal was in a pitcher sitting on the counter not chilled and the bread items felt a bit stale they had gravy for the biscuits but it was served in a crock pot that looked like it was just put back in the fridge each day and reheated over and over . I did like that they had small containers of yogurt that were chilled and they did have a good selection of waffle toppings had there been mix to make them. The staff was very nice!!!

We ate in our room with food we brought, only got coffee from the breakfast bar. The staff were friendly and helpful, all of the ones we met. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was dingy and dark, the carpet old and worn. It smelled old like old cigarette smoke and other odd things. In general the place felt shabby. It didn't help that there's a paper mill in town with bad odors that wafted through town.
-
My shower didn’t work. The other room shower had bugs in it.
