Tru By Hilton Lexington Hamburg

it was clean It took forever for the woman working there to check us in & I had booked and paid online so you wouldn't have thought she had that much to do but we stood there for over 15 minutes before we got the keycards. She didn't bother to tell us the room number or where it was at until I asked. The room was SO small, I felt like I was in a nicely decorated jail cell, Even the mini fridge was small. a microwave would've have been a nice touch. Coffee was available, in the hall near the check-in desk. but it was so far from the room it would've been cold before I got there with it. The AC unit kept us awake most of the night it was too hot to turn it off and it sounded like an old car running in the room it was SO loud. Breakfast was over at 9am - we finally fell asleep around 3am so we didn't get up until 9:30 - would've been nice if breakfast lasted more reasonable hours, say maybe until 10am instead of 6-9 (that's more like truck driver hours not traveler's hours). The lady working during checkout was more than a little rude. And she acted ticked-off that I left the keycards in the room when I left.

Exceptional

Very clean. Breakfast was exceptional. Would like to see a pool there.

1. Small room 2. Bathroom with one sink and small space 3. Shower door did not close properly - poor workmanship 4. No closet - Pegs on the wall & exposed pole to hang things from 5. No Carpet - cold floor 6. No coffee in the room 7. Very small desk 8. One chair in a room for two people 9. Buzzing refrigerator - not enclosed in a cabinet 10. Breakfast is below average = loaded with sugar and salt 11. Staff members at desk don’t appear professional wearing untucked T-shirts. They appear slovenly. Not a good look. PROS Clean room Night light in bathroom Nice staff Good bed ——— Room is small and uncomfortable. This place feels like a training hotel for a higher end hotel - bottom of the chain.

The lobby and the rooms where clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Very clean

We love staying at the Tru. They are always clean and this one was the same. It’s no frills but has everything you need. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and easy to find. Staff was helpful and fantastic, and plenty of places to eat that were close by. Breakfast was ok nothing fantastic but if you liked pancakes or grits it would be right up your alley.

Exceptional

Hotel well kept, location good, room efficient.

Exceptional

Loved the location. So close the the pavilion. Excellent safe grounds for parking. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and do feel that the mattresses need to be softer. Ours were very firm both times.

Need microwave in room

Beds were comfortable. Room was spotless.

Room was very quiet, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good..

our travels

I had a wonderful stay at Tru by Hilton! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. One of my favorite parts was the coffee—it was absolutely wonderful and such a great way to start the day. I really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
