Everything about our stay was great. It is not handicap accessible.

Clear room and the people who own it were so nice. It's actually a good place to stay for how cheap it is.

A couple of frustrations. The staff does not explain to you how to work the AC. The usual controls don’t work. The AC controls are on a remote that we didn’t notice were on the entertainment center the next morning. And on the first stay the manager asked THREE times if we had dog on check in. The second stay the female manager asked about a dog then asked again if we had dog. I said “nope I didn’t get one in the last 60 seconds “. There fixation about asking about a dog but neglecting to inform about their unusual air conditioning unit is ridiculous. BUT on the good side the accommodations were excellent!

It was a comfortable stay except the bed was high for me beings short overall the staff was very courteous

Compared to other roadside motels this trip, the South Wind Inn was the best of the bunch. I enjoyed my stay. Neither the kids or my wife had anything negative to say which says a lot on its own lol. If I find myself in Liberal KS again, I would stay here again no question.

The room was a nice size. Air conditioning was the best thing; it was blowing cold air around the room and there was also a table fan which was nice. It was super quite but the blinds weren't blackout, so you have some light coming inside the room. The bed was comfortable and there was a table to eat on with 2 chairs.

Coffee available in lobby, no Coffee brewery in room if that's a deal breaker for some. Fridge and microwave in room I rented. Bed was comfortable, AC worked good. No complaints.

Wonderful customer service and very clean room. Excellent stay could not ask for more. Bed was amazing.

I highly recommend this motel to anyone needing to stay in the area! Tell them we aid "hello"!

The beds were more comfortable than pricier hotels! I slept better than I ever do when I travel. And this place was spotless!

We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and welcoming owners. The room was very clean, spacious and well maintained for an older motel. I love motels especially because you don't have to drag your luggage down multiple levels! It's so nice to have your car right outside your door!

The owners are very friendly and personable, they made me feel at home. I was headed to Kansas City for a funeral and they seemed genuinely concerned about me and the circumstances I will stay here again.

Very clean. Bed comfortable. The owners were super nice. Felt safe. Excellent price for a 1-night stay, passing through town.

Close to highway and a lot of traffic noise. Room had a blind in the window which did not block the intense lights in the parking lot. Rooms very much in need of updating.

Easily located in Liberal, KS. Older motel with courtyard parking. Staff exceedingly helpful. Comfortable, safe. One of the many Indian owned motels we have stayed at, all of which went out of their way. Step up to room, difficult for old people with heavier baggage.

Had issues with the AC

Very clean and both husband and wife owners came to see me off and were very concerned that my stay was comfortable. Which it was.

Friendly staff, dog-friendly and comfortable. Loved to be able to park right in front of the door for our room. Very reasonably priced. It was older and could use a face lift but then the price would go up.
