Shower didn't work. Hair dryer plug was broken, looked dangerous to touch. Reported and was offered a different room, but wasn't worth moving for.

The room / bathroom were clean. The front desk staff was very friendly. The exterior of the building and hallways were run down. There were dirty, disgusting bug traps by the doors. The blankets on the beds had holes in them and looked like they needed to be tossed. The worst part was the air conditioner that sounded like a loud, running lawn mower that vibrated all night. I finally had to turn the air conditioner off even though it was 98 deg F outside.

Available Clearly heard conversations through walls. One room had wall shared with breakfast area, staff started setting up breakfast around 4 am, every cabinet door was banged shut so I couldn't sleep while they were setting up. Second room had used Wendy's cup in the room so not cleaned well. No reading lamp in room, had to move chair to entry area for light. Bathroom plug didn't work; hairdryer plug was broken. Hall rugs were dirty, few tables available in breakfast area.

Overall I thought the room was just as good as any Holiday inn Express I've ever been in or any other midline hotel with 3.8 to 4.2 Stars, I was pretty impressed. Very comfortable night's sleep! Staff should be in a recognizable uniform and not half undressed covered with sparkly dust as was our receiving agent when we checked in. There was a couple small items in the room that could be fixed like the faucet in the tub was worn out so the pressure at the shower head was poor. It was a little dark by the desk and could use another lamp. The stains at the bottom of the white pull shades was pretty badly representing.

The room felt muggy. The breakfast wasn't anything special just some waffles, bagels, toast, and cereal.

I was happy with the property for what we paid. We needed a couple hours sleep to continue our drive. The lady we spoke with when checking in was very polite and courteous. The breakfast was decent other than the coffee.

There are safety issues in the bathroom for seniors. No grab bars, no shower mat or stickers in the tub. Tub was very slippery and we had to make sure neither of us fell while taking a shower l. Staff told us we could go to Dollar General down the street. Toilet seat was loose and unstable for senior guests. Could be a liability when someone falls and gets hurt.

Rooms were old, I always check for bed bugs and the mattress cover was very dirty it was disgusting, did not want to go barefoot on the carpet they looked dirty.
