Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lima by IHG

The hotel is clean. The woman who checked me in was nice. However, when I called the next day about a random additional charge on my card, the person I spoke to was very unpleasant. If you’re traveling with a dog, do NOT stay here. The pet fee is $75! Most hotels have between a $15-$25 dollar pet fee. I was told what the fee was when I checked in. I just paid for my stay and checked out the next morning. Then I noticed an additional $25 charge on my card. When I called, they said they hadn’t charged me the full fee and had charged me more the next day to cover it. What?! That makes ZERO sense. Why would they give me a total for my stay when I checked in, which I paid in full, only to charge me more the next day? It feels very deceitful. I was just staying here for a single night for a dog show the next day (read: very well behaved, socialized, trained dog). It ended up that my “affordable” so-called “pet-friendly” hotel stay ended up being over $250 for a single night. I will NEVER stay there again and will avoid Holiday Inn Express locations going forward.

Exceptional. Clean, professional staff, newer carpet, modern furniture/decor, quiet. Great coffee and breakfast bar had a good amount of offerings, all fresh. The lady working the breakfast food was polite and attentive. Front desk staff was super. I was very pleased with my stay. Highly recommend.

I won’t stay anywhere else in Lima! This hotel is clean/conveniently located, and the staff is very friendly. I have stayed multiple times and will continue to rebook at this property for all my trips to Lima.

This was what I have grown to expect from a Holiday Inn Express. The check-in staff was excellent. Very friendly and able to accommodate a special request. The room was the usual very clean and comfortable. The only thing that gets a con is the breakfast. They served scrambled eggs instead of the cheese omelette and no biscuits and gravy.

The coffee was excellent, we didn't have breakfast due to meeting family at a restaurant. The staff was excellent, very helpful and we're able to give us an handicap accessible room, the bathroom was beautifully set up with roll in shower and plenty of grab bars. No complaints

Great experience!

Clean and quiet. Some damage in the room that should be addressed. A piece of baseboard is missing in the bathroom (room 128). I'd stay here again any time passing through this area.

The staff were friendly. I had my 7 month old with me and she had accidentally got into syrup at breakfast and made a mess on the table. I asked for a wet rag to clean it up but they offered to clean it up for me.

The suite had a great kitchen area and a beautiful view of a horse farm. Nice bathroom and plenty of charging plugs for electronics. $75 pet charge seems a bit steep.
