Motel 6 Lincoln, NE - Airport

The staff was great. This place is being switched from another hotel chain to this one. My room did not look like the photo. Not even close. It’s being renovated so it’s just dirty everywhere. My room was clean thank goodness, but everywhere else smells and oozes renovation.

The stuff was incredibly rude. I rang the bell because she was not at the desk. I waited 10 minutes and still nobody came. Then someone else rang the bell. We both sat there for another 10 minutes. We agreed one of us should call and when I did, the staff member said they would be down shortly. When she did arrive, she YELLED at me, literally YELLED at me saying that I was inconsiderate and rude and told me that she was helping a customer. There was no reason to ring the bell and the sign was up. She continued to yell at me and tell me that I was very inconsiderate and rude over and over and how I should understand to be patient. She said patience was a virtue! But I’m sorry after 20 minutes. Honestly, if I knew that I would not get charged, I would’ve walked out! Also, there’s construction going on during our stay. They had music playing until 1 AM while working. It would’ve been nice to get a notice that the construction was happening. Also, why is the construction crew blasting music while people are trying to sleep after quiet hours? The shower also had mold. Do not recommend going here incredibly rude staff and construction happening. Should’ve never happened!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS HELL HOLE!

Location and price It could have been clearer

The room smelled horribly of cat pee. The floor was crunchy. They were in the middle of a remodel, the bed was new and comfortable. The couch was old, had what looked to be cat claw marks all down the arms and smelled bad enough I didn't go near it. Contractors were banging around until well after 11pm. Laundry was not accessible due to remodel. I should have planned better with a football home game. Only place available under 300$ per night.

Staff was WONDERFUL! They seemed to be mid-renovation

Easy access to I-80 POORLY maintained - tub was disgustingly dirty and “patio” had a large box of trash left on it - used charcoal bag, beer bottles. Grass overgrown . Grounds were also unkempt (pictures will verify). The mattress was worn and soft. The cooling/heating unit wall was badly damaged.

I just needed a bed for the night. Didn’t expect much. It’s a Motel 6. Staff was friendly. Good location for fast food. Remodeling was being done on second floor.

There was no breakfast provided. Facility was still under construction. The first room that I was put in had cockroaches in the bathroom and on the wall and no microwave. The staff was able to put us in another room which I really appreciated and only found one small cockroach and there was a microwave. That there were cockroaches in the first room they put me in and that there was no lounge area.

No pool. Everything is being renovated.
