I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking Make parking free

I loved free breakfast and the staff were so kind and caring. I will be coming here again if I come to Chicago again :)

The hotel is in a great location, the staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was convenient and enjoyable. The only downside was that the carpet in our room was wet from the air conditioner, but aside from that, we had a great stay

I asked about the shuttle service and was told that they could drop us off but if the wait was longer than 5 minutes we would need to call the hotel to get picked up. The first driver had an attitude and was mumbling to himself and shaking his head the whole time, didn’t bother to offer to open the door nor did he offer the step stool to us…so that we wouldn’t have to struggle and try to hop our 5’2” bodies into the van. The last driver I asked him to give me 5 minutes, that I was just going to run into Walmart and grab a sweater and he agreed. I looked at my watch and ran into the store I wasn’t in there 4 minutes and the van was no where in sight. I asked a store employee if he had the van we was in when we got dropped off and he told us that it had left as soon as we went in the store. We called to hotel and told her what happened and if the driver was coming back she told us he was on break and didn’t know when his break would be over. So instead of continuing to wait in this area that I knew nothing about because I’m from NC I called an Uber to get back to the Hotel. I asked the cleaning staff if I could something to clean the toilet with and they told me I had to go to the front desk because they didn’t have anything to clean toilets with. I asked so how do you clean the toilets? I went to the front desk and desk and she gave me a bottle of window cleaner. I had DoorDash deliver some bleach cleaner and Lysol wipes I cleaned the toilet and the wipes turned brown.

But our toilet wouldn’t flush, they did come and fixed it!

Dierdre and Adam were so friendly, helpful and kind. The room was perfect for our stay. Good location. Great breakfast as well! Would definitely recommend.

Public area and rooms were clean and well attended to except for the upkeep in maintenance was poor. In guest rooms .First room had a shower head issue with no water flow. Maintenance came to fix but we opted to switch rooms . The second room was more outdated , wallpaper peeling off in bathroom and screen on outside window was torn . Making a shabby appearance of the room. Staff was friendly and helpful . Breakfast was good with a nice variety . Didn’t use pool but it looked clean and inviting . We got a parking charge for our vehicle which I think was not necessary .

The housecleaning staff knocked on my door while I was still sleeping asking me if I wanted my room cleaned. I stated that I did but didn't want it done for a couple of hours. When I returned, I was astonished at what had not been done. Blankets were just thrown up on the bed, blankets that were used for pullout where in a pile on the couch. The only two other things that were done were the trash was emptied and there were clean towels. The glasses they supply and used were still dirty in the sink. The coffee maker still had the old coffee pack and nothing in the bathroom was cleaned. They also took the sheets for the pullout and did not supply any clean ones. I was extremely disappointed. Plus, the breakfast they provided didn't have anything of substance other than eggs. No protein was provided. My son is allergic to eggs, so he did not have a hardy breakfast.

Room was clean and comfortable. Facility was clean. Staff was courteous. Elevator out of order. Laundry was archaic coin operated, requiring $7 in quarters to do one load.
