Simple but effective

Adequate property. Lobby was dark and the dining room where the breakfast is served felt dreary and spartan. Elected not to eat there. I was disappointed that there was terrible television reception. Watching TV to relax in the evening was impossible due to excessive pixeling which I was informed could not be repaired by the service provider until Monday. I checked in on a Friday with check out the next morning.

Very clean room. Helpful staff. Breakfast was simple but okay. Plenty of parking. Elevator needs a tune up. Shower needs grab bar.

Our television didn’t work properly when I called the front desk to see what they could do. Was basically told there was nothing they could do. Breakfast was mediocre and served entirely too early 6-9:30 a.m., so didn’t even bother to get anything.

I understand that pet-friendly rooms will naturally experience more wear and tear, and I know some pet owners don't clean up after their animals. However, there is a pet fee, so I expected the room to be cleaned and sanitized between guests. My dog is fully potty trained, and I even travel with potty pads just in case. We were in town for the Chris Brown and Usher concert and had to rush to the venue, so we didn't have time to address the issue with the front desk. When we returned, we decided to check out instead of spending the night there. I even gave my dog a bath when we got home because I didn't feel comfortable after being in the room. Since the reservation was non-refundable through Expedia, I didn't see much point in requesting a refund. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression, and I don't plan to stay at this location again.

Great stay

Our hotel room was extremely dirty. It looked like it had mold or cobwebs all over the ceiling. We stayed for six nights and had someone change our room over once I don’t even think they changed our room over. They remade our bed and picked up three day old towels off of our bathroom floor, and we begged for towels the day before. My husband had to hunt the maid cart down and he took towels and washcloths and toilet paper because our room was completely ignored the whole time we were there. We asked at the front desk and a room never got changed over at all. The walls are paper thin. 4 AM the employees are filling ice buckets and tooling around getting breakfast ready. Our room just happened to be right next-door to the public restroom where we heard everything. Not a fantastic day whatsoever I am highly disappointed.

Room was clean, staff were friendly. Only issues were toilet rocked and shower rod slanted so curtain didn’t stay closed.

My feet slipped on the floor almost falling a few times. There was a slick/sticky residue all over. There was 1/3 toilet paper left on the roll with NO back ups in the room. When packing up to leave I found popcorn under the bed which wasn’t from us since we didn’t have that in our room to start.

We had a pleasant talk with the general manager Rob. We enjoyed our stay. We know where we stay again, visiting Syracuse. Thank you very much for making our stay very enjoyable. Rasti Kresanek

Location was great!

Some of the front desk staff were not very friendly. We were happy we had housekeeping more than we have at other hotels but often our towels were taken and we had to go to the front desk to get the replacements. We were told by the front desk clerk once "Do I look like housekeeping?". I did have an issue and others at the front desk offered to help as best they could. The breakfast was decent. We liked the location for the car show we were attending....
