Hampton Inn Livonia Detroit

As far as the room, you can hear literally EVERYTHING from the hallway to others in their rooms. The bathroom sink didn’t have much water pressure and its design makes it hard to do anything (including wash your hands). The breakfast area had gnats near the food and the pool area didn’t seem sanitized. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Staybridge staff states they do not clean the room or even tighten it up at all. So the entire stay there was no cleaning at this location. However previous stay at this location and others this was not the case

My tv didn't work the whole 2 nights I was staying.

Everything was really good except for the pool looked like it could use some cleaning.

This is my go to hotel when I go home. I’m from Detroit. I even know the staff by faces. We greet each other when I check in. The staff is always pleasant. Rooms and dining & pool areas, are always clean & stocked. The location is near shopping & grocery stores. It’s a bar & pool across the street. And it’s off of the freeway. I recommend this hotel whenever you stay in the Detroit area.

I highly recommend experiencing this stay at Hampton Inn. The staff are very welcoming and friendly greeting each guest with high energy and respect. Very helpful with information about the hotel and city of Detroit. The breakfast comes with hot options that change daily, was very surprising to see both impossible breakfast sausage as well as chicken sausage options. The rooms were clean upon arrival but they do not make up the beds which was disappointing. Even when asked I was told they do not do it. The pool was there but you could see a thick sludge over the top which made me not attempt to enjoy that amenity, however I am not sure how regularly that area is sanitized. Additionally the nice outdoor patio is convenient for those who consume smoke and it is in a area that doesn’t disturb other guest. I highly recommend this property and have already rebooked for my next stay.

I asked to replace the pillows the first few minutes of arrival but the front desk stated house keeping just left. She did provide me with another below, however, being told house keeping closed at 5:00 pm on Friday was unbelievably strange to hear

Convenient location, easy access to highways and restaurants. The property itself was nice, the room was comfortable and the morning breakfast was good.

Room was nice, pillows were smaller than I am use to.

I didn’t like that I reserved a room with a king size bed and I ended up a room with two queens

Pool was cold and unheated. Lots of chlorine floating on the surface. Hot tub wasn't hot. Room key card scanner died twice in two days, had to plan around that. Put in a room on the end next to noisy stairs. Only had two towels in room. Breakfast was so-so. No nonstick spray for waffle makers. All utensils were flimsy plastic. Bed was hard and pillows too soft with no support. A/C worked good though fan had to be set to high all the time. Wouldn't stay here again.

Very clean and the staff was super friendly

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip to the Detroit zoo. The hotel was nice and clean. The room was spacious and very nice. My only complaint was the hot tub was out of order and part of the reason we chose to stay here. Over all very nice and would stay here again.
