Motel 6 Lomita, CA

First of all, I had been here to this place about a year ago, and it was fine and I had everything they stated they had for us, example: microwave, refrigerator and ice machine, they clean my room without me having to remind them. Fast forward stayed there this past week and had a small roach on my bed! It was 1am in the morning I would tell them the next day, went to Disneyland all Day then told them the next morning. Open my refrigerator, more roaches, then I open the microwave and another!! You would think the management/ front office would accommodate us, Different room, im so sorry, blah, blah, but no!! Told us the next morning they would to something about the refrigerator and microwave!! Well they just clean it and went on like nothing!! NEVER GO THERE EVER!! #MOTEL6BOYCOTT4EVER

Ice machine doesn’t work, soda machine doesn’t work, homeless living next door, homeless living in a car in our space, crack heads hanging outside. Room: the top covers had stains from previously people, no closet space so had to put our stuff on the floor which was swept well, there were roaches, crickets can come inside bc there is a big cap under the doors so we put a towel inside, we went to ask more towels but only gave us 1 small so we went to Walmart to buy our own, shower was ok but can’t control it, sink would clog, we didn’t use the microwave, the fridge was good and the ac was good.

Decent sized room, beds were decently comfortable. Pillows and bedding were old and worn out and all different sizes. Shower was good and hot, couldn’t get towels when we checked in and only had one in the room. Had a party of 4 so that was inconvenience and we were told we’d have to wait until 9:30am to receive more. Ended up going to ross a few miles down the road to get towels and pillows. Ok location and price was about right. Not sure if I’d book again at this location.

The manager was kind and fixed the broken shower handle. The towel rack fell off. No housekeeping services offered during my 5 days.

Cocoroaches, dirty floors and terrible costumer service.

Rooms were dirty , the shower / bath faucet was coming off the wall... the bathtub filled up with water and didnt drain. The lady at front desk was rude when we arived 30 min earlier then check in. I did mention to her the room bathtub filled with water and her words was " i can not do anything about it." The door also didnt close correctly to the room ..For paying 260.00$ for a room and they did not even try to fix the problem or give us another room. I would not stay here ever again. If I could give 0 stars I would. I think health services should be I formed of this hotel.

Good clean room and nice parking close to room

Room was very spacious and clean at first but when checking beds we black lighted the sheets and the were very dirty or used it had oil stains on them. It was hard to get a hold of staff and they had very thin walls that we could hear the next door room shaking the bed and loudness. But over all an alright experience.

I get that it’s supposed to be a Motel 6, but c’mon now… raccoons roaming around, animal feces on the walkways, and the whole place felt sketchy from the moment we got there. The room and common areas didn’t feel clean, and it honestly seemed like nobody had ever payed attention to basic upkeep or safety. We were uncomfortable the entire time and couldn’t wait to leave. Never again

Good choice when all you need is a good rest while on a road trip. The staff was polite . Room was clean, no dirty floor, and the bed was soft for me. Would stay here again.

Clean and quiet. I lived being able to park right in front of the door.

Front desk guy had a bit attitude but we did check in at 1am so I get him😅 the toilet water smelled so bad we couldn’t use it because the smell. The bed was really comfortable and clean sheets. Overall a decent hotel to stop for the night

Front desk staff made checking in horrible. I booked a trip for my cousins through Expedia. I have never had a problem booking the rooms myself but arranging another person for check in (used my cousins name) until I got to this hotel. They claimed that because the person who booked it didn’t match the guest name they would not let them check in. We called Expedia support and they also agreed it should have never been a problem. The man on expedia support had to speak with front desk staff to remind them of policies. Also, we used “book now, pay later” but the front desk used my card instead of asking what card should be used. I don’t understand how they could be so strict about me not being there for check in but had no problem charging my card without my authorization. My cousins did send me the money but the staff ruined their check in experience and I am very enraged by the unprofessional manner everything happened. So grateful for Expedia support teams for assisting.

I had something happen and needed an emergency place to spend the night, not at all prepared. Only the clothes on my back. Just wanted to shower and sleep. Only 2 mini bars of soap.

A budget motel is a budget motel. I get it. But your feet shouldn’t turn black from walking across the floor, the bath towels shouldn’t be so thin you can see through them, and a shower that only gets “just warm enough” is not ok. Yikes.
