LIC Manhattan View Hotel

Good location, with a 5-10 minute walk to most subway lines for quick access to the city. Polite and helpful staff. Very expensive for the lack of amenities. Wifi did not work in the room for the first two days due to a router issue, was fixed later.

The room was cleaner than expected, and the location was very convenient for accessing Manhattan. However, the air conditioner was in poor condition, and the toilet malfunctioned. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the maintenance could be improved.

The Manhattan suite was fantastic! Great view of the city at night!

1) We booked for 5 person, but upon arrival, the staff said all the other rooms are out, the only one available is with one queen and sofa bed, and they can only provide a rollover bed, this is clearly not what I expected. 2) Room’s carpet is wet with water 3) breakfast is only bagel and coffee

It's my first time sleeping in NY and the truth is LIC HOTEL is a clean hotel, the receptionist was very friendly, although the central A/C did not work they gave me a laptop and if it worked, and they also give you a breakfast service in the mornings, and it is close to some places to eat, I would definitely go back there

Was able to check in early which was helpful.

For the money in the area I guess can't expect much. The room was not clean , had a half eaten cookie on the bag of the bed on the floor. It also had really old furniture. I guess all pictures are of the "suites". Plus had a portable ac which cool the room but come on.

It was ok, we basically just slept there, but the hotel just seemed run down, the bar and restaurant closed, the breakfast was basic pastries and coffee. Just seemed like it had changed owners and cost cutting and saving was priority

One of the stuff was really ruin to me told me if I didn’t put down a deposit I can’t get in my room which i paid for? They let me sleep on the street even tho i paid for my room online and they didn’t want to refund me I had no way to go and I had to sleep on the street terrified and scared for my life I didn’t even get to enjoy my trip I had to get on the bus next morning.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Not too far from the subway. Felt a bit nervous walking around the neighborhood at night, but was fine during the day. Good restaurants within walking distance. They offered a “grab and go” breakfast. The only thing available was bagels & croissants. I can’t eat gluten so there was nothing for me to eat. My teenage daughter said it was stale & couldn’t eat hers.

Location and the view. There is an ice machine that is so noisy in the corridor (15th floor), it was impossible to sleep without ear plugs and even with them in the ears, the noise was still very loud. I couldn’t have a good rest and it quite ruined my stay.
