Basic clean functional hotel. We appreciated the quiet. Things worked and staff were helpful. Neighborhood doesn't have much going for it, but super convenient to the subway, only 20 mins from the heart of Manhattan. Odd that the rooms did not have a safe, and the pillows were lumpy and need to be refreshed with higher quality.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a view of the Manhattan skyline. The reception staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The selection of food for breakfast was a bit limited and the coffee wasn't good.

my first room smelled of cigarette smoke but they put me in a new room the next day which was much better.

Great stay, helpful staff. Long Island City is convenient, quiet, and a nice jumping-off point for our trip to Manhattan and Hudson River Valley.

The location The feel is low end. The breakfast was one of the worst for a long time. Very basic, arranged that is difficult to reach, you need to clear your own plates. At the room - the door of the shower does not close. The entrance to the shower itself is low and quite dangerous. The train station that is nearby does not work all the days of the week. If that are the prices for this location maybe get a farther location.

Location was convenient for the train/subway system. Breakfast was decent if you’re trying not to eat every meal out. Beds were very comfortable.

Very clean, and beautiful building! I appreciated walking into a building that felt like a break from my day to day. The continental breakfast was nice but I didn’t see decaf coffee available. Everything else was stellar!!

The property is in a great location for access to public transport

Rooms are cleaned and near good stores and minutes walk to the train stations ☺️

We have stated a couple hotels in the area, but by far this was the one of the best ones would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back

Home2 Suites by Hilton is truly a home away from home. Located in a prime area of Long Island City near Queens Plaza in Queens, it sports a breath-taking view of the Manhattan skyline in the midtown area, that includes the magnificent Empire State building. The Hotel is actually a studio apartment with a full-fledge kitchen, a large microwave, a large fridge, electric stove and conventional oven, toaster, utensils and implements, dishwasher, coffee maker---all these appliances are in excellent working condition. Lots of room with a large bed, sofa, a mobile kitchen-"counter" of sort, a decent open closet space also is provided. Especially convenient is its pivotal location...just a couple of stations away from Manhattan on the E subway line. Also, W and N lines to 39th Avenue, L. I. City. Housekeeping keeps the rooms spick-and-span. Continental breakfast is sumptuous (for a vegetarian like me, cereal, milk, fruits, juices, yogurt inasmuch as you could devour!). Mention must be made of the front-desk personnel...particularly, Enzo, Jeff, Marko and all their colleagues who manage the Hotel in an exemplary way. They are all so polite, helpful, and provide pointers on the Hotel's neighborhood in Queens and Manhattan as well. There are convenience stores in the neighborhood, the savory Goodfellas' Pizzeria (only take-aways) on 40th Avenue, Laundry-Lab on Crescent Street are conveniently located in the vicinity. There are no negatives, except that they may consider providing some vegetarian items in the breakfast. This is my go to hotel. Close to everything. Minutes from Manhattan. I’ve even stayed here while I was painting my apartment.

Front desk staff were amazing. Never experienced such great customer service, accommodation and flexibility. Definitely the best 10/10

Loved the cleanliness of the room, full kitchen, friendly staff, convenience of location for our activities. The breakfast was adequate. The toiletries were minimal.
