Nesva Hotel

This is not a luxury hotel but a solid 3 star with good size room for NYC, lots of storage space, major transit hub and large grocery short walk away.

The room was not clean (there was a dead bug on the pillow) and the hotel smelled of either mold or smoke.

Friendly staff. Nice view from my room. No coffee or tea facilities in my room. I was savaged by bedbugs during my stay and ended up at the doctors the day after leaving the hotel with a severe allergic reaction to a weeks worth of bed bug bites!

Clean and quiet (I) No kettle or coffee machine in the room, only available in the kitchen on the ground floor. (2) bed was lumpy. (3) My room overlooked a school so around 9am the children in the yard were noisy, same again at lunchtime. (4) While hotel is just 3 mins (2 blocks) walk from subway station, at night there is no one around so I had to taxi from an earlier stop rather than walk alone up the street as there were some homeless people in the vicinity so I felt uncomfortable walking alone at night.

Incredible location close to 3 subway stations. Easy to get to Midtown, Jackson Heights, Flushing. Clean room, not too tiny, surprisingly good coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Only thing was the shower switch didn't work good

Nothing much to like about other than the complimentary coffee. Charged me deposit and promised to refund it after I leave, after 2 weeks no refund so I contacted them and they said they start the process of refunding and it has now been almost 2 months and still no refund. They stole my deposit.

Amazing location, next to various subway/bus stations. The TV in our room didn’t work (most of the channels were not available)

Loved the balcony, but would have liked some kind of chair to sit in. Pillows were rather hard and there was barely any room to put our suitcases. Everything was clean and staff was helpful. Liked the purple nightlight in the bathroom.

The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There was good water pressure and hot water! The view was beautiful from the balcony and we never heard any noise coming from outside. The entrance to the train to go to Manhattan is a few minute walk away. Only thing that did bother me was the bed sheets were some super cheap polyester that was super staticky.

Great location and price; definitely the best value in LIC (and very convenient for anyone attending the US Open). Everything was quite clean and spacious (for a NY hotel room :) and the staff were very friendly/ helpful. Would absolutely stay again!

The room was a very good size, and the balcony had views of Queens Plaza and Manhattan. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were no unpleasant odors in the room. The Wi-Fi signal did not reach all parts of the room. Strangely, it worked very well in the bathroom, but the connection was very poor throughout the rest of the room. I think this is quite a significant issue, and I would expect the Wi-Fi coverage to be much better. I would have liked the bedside lighting to be functional. There were not enough power outlets in the room.

Place was nice and clean. No issues. It's a smaller hotel but I only needed a home base where I could spend the nights as I was out and about during the day Only thing was the website says parking is available but it's not marked. I had to call to get parking but it wasn't a big deal
