It’s a decent stay, nothing elaborate or especially nice. Clean enough, spacious by NYC standards in this price range. Good for a couple of nights.

Very clean! And comfortable!

The rooms were very small but nice and once again the view was excellent. On the other side of the coin, however, their front desk folks are infuriating. My reservation of two queen-bed rooms was downgraded to single kings without explanation. One call to the front desk said no upgrades were available while a second, later call said sure for an additional $200 each. They offered a roll-away bed instead for $20 additional. I agreed reluctantly. I called ahead on travel day to ask that my son’s name be added in a note to our reservation of two rooms in case he arrived before I did. I was told that’s no problem. When I called later in the day due to a delay in my arrival, I was told my THREE rooms were ready but I owed them an additional $800 for the third room (that I never asked for). “We tried to charge your credit card, but it was rejected.” Really? I haven’t given them one as my reservation was Expedia. Apparently adding a name to the reservation was too much for the front desk. Upon arrival, there were no roll-away beds in either room. There never could be due to size limitations, yet the front desk assured me they were there and I had to insist upon checkout that they not charge me for the invisible beds. So in summary - Nice hotel, absolutely shockingly poorly trained front desk staff.

The things that happen on the night shift is ridiculous and humanly embarrassing.

Exceptional

Excellent view, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, lots of choices on the TV, vent in the bathroom, everything worked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Seating was comfortable. Ice machine on every other floor. Need a more secure place to store luggage, but didn't have a problem.
