Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The bathrooms could use some updating… especially the potties…ours was super low to ground and round(very small). Our pullout sofa didn’t open so that was a disappointment since we wanted that when we booked that room. Otherwise, the location was nice, lots of restaurants and close to the Fair grounds which was why we were there.

Bathtub with large rust surface. Tile floor cracked and stained. Very limited towel racks. Lobby and cafe old and dark. with minimum staff.

The staff was super kind and even got me so I could check in early.

The location manager was exceptional Friday night when I checked in assisting me by phone to gain internet access! She was so helpful with a patient caring tone! The room was a little noisy at times when next door AC kicked on making it hard to sleep.

Also, our checkout date was July 5, 2026m there was a frayed rug in the foyer and as I was taking out the luggage on their luggage carrier, my shoe caught on the frayed rug and I went down on my left knee and hurt myself. The person at the check in area, a gentleman and another visitor came to help me. I would advise that The Courtyard by Marriott update and correct the things I have mentioned.

This property had a good location. It was not too far from downtown, and restaurants such as Tikki Restaurant and The Post were great walkable choices. I felt the price was too high for the room.
