Check in took way too long with stupid issues. Paying in advance was actually more difficult than paying on arrival, so why do that? Room was not made up between the two nights we stayed. When I asked why I was told that I had to request that in advance. Given that every other non-flop house motel in America provides this service automatically, I asked how I could even know that I must request cleaning? No answer there. Everything from bed linens to carpeting was shoddy and worn.

The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. When we first walked down the hallway, we were a little concerned because it was poorly carpeted and the floor felt uneven. However, once we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a nice shower. Overall, we had a good stay.

Hotel.com had this rated 8.8. That is the only reason I considered Econo. We were on the second floor. NO ELEVATOR! Is this the 1950s? The carpet on the stairs was very worn and filthy. Breakfast was fine and the staff was good. But 8.8 rating? I guess I’ve learned my lesson.

The breakfast was decent, but nothing extra.

Older property. Microwave in room did not work. Sparse breakfast. I feel a bit overpriced.

This property had clean rooms, but the rest of the building was aged and not well maintained. The breakfast was very minimal with very few choices. The carpeting was old, worn, and torn. The hallway had ripples in the carpet that could be tripping hazards. There was no hair dryer in the room and the refrigerator leaked.

Clean room with comfortable pillows and soft sheets. Great price! And convenient location.

We needed to stop for one night, the hotel was good for the price.

Likes:good shower, Beds were OK, room had 2 easy chairs, near interstate, lower cost, actual queen size bedspacious room size. Dislikes: low shower head, no blow dryer, no coffee pot, very slow check-in with desk having computer issues, no iron.

The pool was ice cold and it is clear the property needs an update due to uneven floors, wrinkled hallway carpeting and dated decor. The staff was friendly and were prompt in fixing a backing up drain I discovered shortly after checking in though did not communicate the repair was complete. The room was clean but the remote was not paired to the TV so watching TV was difficult as I had to get up and change the volume and turn on/off from the TV itself. I was only there for one night or this would have been a larger issue.

First there’s the good parts. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the beds were clean and comfortable. Otherwise the carpet on the stairs was ripped and uneven down the hallway with humps underneath. The toilet was unstable and the shower and shower curtain had stains and were disgusting. There were tiny ants on the bathroom floor and the tub walls. The Kleenex hadn’t been replaced and the shampoo and conditioner were about empty. And the top lock on the door was broke off. And there were people out in the parking lot until late at night blasting music and smoking pot. This hotel was rated a 9.0 but there’s no way it’s even close to that. More like a 3.

Cons: No hairdryer in room. Desk clerk said they didn’t have any. Later discovered desk clerk was wrong, but had already purchased one at Walmart. Shampoo container in shower was empty. Was already soaking wet when I noticed this, so elected to wash my hair with bar soap rather than dry off, get dressed, and go to the desk for a shampoo refill. Kleenex dispenser was empty.

Every single person we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us have a great trip. They didn’t just handle the basics, they took time to talk with us, offer thoughtful recommendations about things to do around the city, and made sure we felt confident navigating Denver. That level of care made a huge difference. What stood out most was how consistently they checked in on us, not in a forced or scripted way, but in a sincere, human way that made us feel valued as guests. It is rare to experience that kind of hospitality across an entire team, but here, it was every single staff member. Their willingness to go above and beyond turned a simple hotel stay into something memorable. If you are looking for a place where the people truly care about your experience, this is it. We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely stay here again.
