The lobby also had a very strong odor that smelled like sour mop water. My room had peeling wallpaper, worn furniture, and an awkward layout with a large amount of unused space. The window was so dirty and covered with moisture buildup that it was difficult to see outside, and it was just as noticeable from the exterior. Both nights were noisy. One night at 1:45 a.m., I was awakened by what appeared to be a very intoxicated guest across the hall blasting loud music while trying to get into his room for several minutes. Another issue was the lack of staff after check-in. The front desk was frequently unattended, making it impossible to purchase something as simple as a bottle of water or ask a question. The only consistently positive experience was with the housekeeping staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the condition of the property, the service at check-in, and the noise made this a stay I would not choose to repeat.

My only problem was the extremely loud music playing beneath our room Friday and Saturday night. We were told it would end at 11pm but after calling the desk twice, I was told it would end at Midnight. Why weren't we told this when we checked in and why were we placed on the 2nd floor directly over the convention center ballroom? My husband and I booked a room for resting not for a concert! There are many great places to stay in Longview. This is still one of my favorite. I hope the management will work out this Noise problem and show consideration for their guest that are not there for a party.

The front desk person was extremely kind. The problem was the room. My room was not cleaned, chips & other items on the carpet, food left in the refrigerator, cleaning towels left on the desk, and no towels in the restroom. I called the front office to voice my complaint and was told I would be reassigned to another room. Once I get to the front desk, I was told there were no available rooms. My credit card was charged almost $300 for a room I didn’t use. I was moved to a different property that cost me more money to stay. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Clean room. Good air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Did not do the breakfast or use the bar.

The ac was great, blew cold air all night very nice. It is very Loud not much sound resistance between the room and the door. You can hear everything….. but other than than was a good stay and would stay again.

The staff was friendly and our room was clean, but our shower was draining slowly and the water was almost up to my ankles by the time I finished showering. The indoor pool looked nice, but it was overrun by kids so we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. There seemed to be a baseball tournament happening nearby so there were lots of kids.

Room was neat but many stains on the floor and in the bathroom (tub and floor) . Storage lacking in the bathroom so there was an unappealing rusted wire rack that held towels and extra toilet paper roll. Staff is amazing.

This time my check in clerk was very nice and friendly when I checked in super late. The restaurant staff was also accommodating when I walked in at almost closing time. I recommend this hotel!

Staff is adequate, pleasant at check in. Room was clean. Minor repairs needed: grab bar cover is coming off and shower head cover as well. Major problem is zero concern for behavior of patrons: kids running and loud in hallways, constant door slamming...I try to choose more expensive places to avoid these issues. We have been staying here 2 times per year for the last 5 years. Might be time to find a new place.

The only suggestion is for the bed to be up-graded from the very soft, overly tall bed to one more firm with better support. I am 6’7” tall with long legs. Sitting on the edge of the bed was more like using a leaning post. Imagine someone shorter would have more of a problem. The soft support of the mattress resulted in a fitful sleep and sore back in the morning.

The first night we had to change rooms around 1 am because my daughter woke up to a bug crawling on her. I took a video and went downstairs to the gentleman at the front desk and showed him the video of the bug. It looked like a bed bug, but he said it was a ‘water bug’ and they were very common. I asked to change rooms anyway. The next morning I realized the second room had a leak above the window that was dripping down to the floor. The leak had obviously been there a while due to all the staining of the curtains that we found. We had to put a towel on the floor. The bathroom shower curtain was torn and the wallpaper was peeling away in several areas. One of our beds was either broken or cracked to the point it made loud noises with every move and was uncomfortable. The breakfast was okay. Not great, but not bad. The pool is small, but okay. Overall, the best thing about this hotel was the staff. Very professional and polite. Shout out to them. However, I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I will stay here every time I am in Longview. The catering manager/ bartender was absolutely awesome & the front desk staff were great! Food was good and so was the bed. I slept well, not something I do often. They have a conference center which is large, clean & well appointed. I’m going back later this month.

Stayed in a kind room with a jacuzzi tub (handicapped room) it was clean and spacious. The breakfast was pretty good with a wide selection of hot foods. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had plenty of room, and the room was very clean. Perfect hotel for our weekend away.

Excellent, I have nice stays

The only improvement could be better attention to accessibility for seniors. The bed was very comfortable but too high for folks with disabilities. The tub had safety rails but was a stretch for someone who had just had hip replacement!
