Majestic Inn

The owner was very rude. He asked me to leave because a friend (and she really is someone that I found to help me move some things because I could not lift - I gave most of my things away because I have no where to take them.) came by my room due to her shower was not working properly. He started saying he could not provide showers for the town??? I don't know what he meant - then he said "Just get out"! I know nothing will be done about this, the persons that created this survey probably will never see this at all. This most likey goes I the "move to trash" file. So because of that I'm going to say this also. This is something the government needs to address. We "GIVE" money to people from other countries to buy them a Hotel here I the United States. We even pay for them to fly over here. Upon arrival they own a business usually a Hotel or convince store. The hotels all provide housing facilities within the hotel for the new owners. All while you have Americans that are homeless or facing homelessness every day. President Trump builds walls to prevent people from Mexico coming here yet pays other countries, sets them up in a in a business where they are pretty much set for life. NOW - let me explain; I am personally affected by this. I stayed in that Hotel because I just lost my RV ( a 1988 RV that needed a lot of work done on it - but it was my home ). I had to sell it because I could no longer afford the lot rent. I had to use the money I got from selling it to pay for moving expenses, etc. It is so hot here in Texas - yesterday temperature reached 102. I am 69 years old, have no family to help me. My daughter died 6 years ago. My social security check is $1,629 per month. Due to the heat I paid for one night in that hotel. Today I am on the street walking around in this heat because the shelters require we leave every morning and we can't go back untill after 5pm. See the above. plus, I paid for the room. It was not that nice of a room but I paid for it and all the amenities. If I wanted to take twelve showers and have a visitor what is it to him. He tried saying I was not allowed a visitor!!! I know this will not be read and nothing will be done. Have a good day.

The staff was desperately eager to get me out of the hotel; I had set my alarm for 10:30 a.m. to check out—hoping to get enough sleep after a long drive—but that wasn't possible, as the owner started calling at 9:50 a.m. to get me to vacate the room. There was only a basic bar of soap (no shampoo) and a lot of noise from outside.

Location. It's why we picked this location Several power outages causing long delays on cooling and television. Also, not allowing any visitors makes this a non option when visiting for family. I rented the room, people should be able to come to visit me at room during reasonable hours.

Very friendly staff and owners rooms are always clean and fresh. My husband and I have been staying there for the last two months and it’s great great environment and location close to.

I saw the place it looked filthy and the staff was extremely rude and I ended up not staying I ended up at a place close by and was very happy with the other place. I didn't like anything about it The place wasn't even nice The lady at the desk was extremely rude and I would never have stayed there

I didn't like much of anything. My experience with the customer service of the Booking.com app was unacceptable. I booked a non-smoking room (the price is irrelevant), but upon arrival, the manager said that only smoking rooms were available, and that I would have to pay an extra $10 to get a different room. This is outrageous, and I request that this hotel be removed from the Booking.com list.
