Residence Inn by Marriott Cypress Los Alamitos

Very comfortable, very quiet. Nice bed & bedding. New silverware & dishes in the kitchen and everything was there that I needed. I love an ice maker in the fridge. I was comfortable and it was clean and that matters to me. The hotel itself could use a facelift for the price. The Staybridge Suites are roughly the same price and MUCH newer. There is overall too much furniture in the room. Wall to wall furniture LOL. For instance the carpet on the stairs and in the hallway is really dirty and they use that cheap cleaner that has a floral smell that I associate with a cheaper brand hotel.

I went to the hotel the week before to confirm the accessibility room needs, which they confirmed. When we arrived, the room we were given did not have the needed accessibility requirements (given a room with a bathtub and needed a walk-in shower). The room I had reserved (for a $250 deposit) was being used by another individual who had extended their stay. I was never notified that that the room was not available and no other rooms met our needs. We had to find another hotel that night to accommodate my mother who is disabled.

Deposit it’s ridiculous $250 and they charge for parking. They had left the trash in the kitchen and a funny smell was coming out of the sink.

Great place to stay and breakfast was good

It was a great stay but had some stains on the sheets and the room needed a new TV because the screen had that blue color issue when the TV is about to go bad. Please replace the TV in the rooms when needed.

Clean and very friendly front desk. The pickle ball court was fun and having a kitchen was a bonus!

Breakfast was okay. The location was okay too. The room was definitely not how it looks in the pictures. The furniture looks old and the curtains were ripped. The pullout sofa was not comfortable.It smelled like cigarettes in the room and hallway. There was a weird smell coming from the bathtub.. we didn't even shower because the smell was so bad.

The room was clean. The furnace/AC is loud whenever it’s on. The breakfast is getting worst though, no coffee cups at the coffee station and food are just stale and dry.

I liked the accommodations. Our room was across from a bank of air conditioners which were in the hotel laundry facilities. It was very noisy. Also, staff tried to assist us in finding a cart for our luggage, since our room was one of the farthest rooms from the elevator. No carts were found, even though Rachel and housekeeping staff searched the entire hotel. The carts were in hotel guests froom, apparently. Perhaps keeping a emergency cart on hand behind the scenes for elderly or disabled to use would be a good idea. Only staff could use this cart and keep it for such uses.

Is very dirty, stinky like mold and asbestos everywhere, Noisy and very dirty, We booked for 4 days we only stay 1 Could not stay another night my wife got serious breathing issues soar troat, I did feel the same way, the room is very outdated looks and remind me my grandpa assisting living place, Lights on this room was turning on automatically with out any one touching the switches, For all the money this company charge for staying is a big rip off 250 per night 12 parking fee a day And if you bring pet is a $500 pay for the pet Breakfast was not good, So make Story short I check out early and I will never ever coming back to this hell place Not worth even free staying, I rather stay at circus circus hotel like.

Great place to stay rooms cleaned every day great breakfast always clean inside and out only complaint i would have is employees take all parking spots close to main entrance (Lobby) and I am in the room next main lobby have to park across the parking lot
