Hometel Suites - Los Angeles (Koreatown)

Room was clean and air conditioned, bathroom was a little funky in terms of maintaining temperature in the shower, but plenty of space for getting ready. There’s great food down stairs and near by, but area isn’t very safe and parking is unpredictable. Hotel had some parking but half the area will be close by a gate from 11pm to 6am I believe. Just makes for extra stress if you need to leave early so make sure you confirm you are parked in the right area for your needs. Staff was very accommodating when I needed to changed my reservation due to a family emergency <3

The hotel is in a very convenient location. On the ground floor there are an excellent cafe and a family-run Korean restaurant. The check-in process was seamless and the staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable. My biggest concern was with the maintenance of the building. The door of our room stuck badly enough that at first I thought the key wasn't working. The air conditioner kept the room comfortable but had mold growing in the vent. The carpets in the hallways were in need of cleaning.

Got a two rooms double queen beds each with nice city views neighborhood was acceptable for the price point tons of delicious walkable restaurants near by including ones that are attached neighborhood gets sketchy after 11 but absolutely worth it didn’t have a problem with parking they had small two floors for parking air conditioner was great beds were very comfortable room smelt stale b it went away when we turn on the ac no deposit was taken now of our rooms had a walk closet the other didn’t have that and the shower curtain fell when we used it overall good place to stay if your on a budget with lots of people

On the second or third afternoon of my stay, a staff member unexpectedly entered my room, saying they thought I had already checked out. The reality was that my checkout date was the following day, so there should have been no reason for anyone to enter my room under that assumption. Fortunately, I happened to be in the room at the time. My passport, Chinese work visa, laptop, and other valuable belongings were all inside. Had I been away, I worry that my belongings could have been removed because the staff mistakenly believed I had already checked out. This incident made me feel that the hotel’s internal communication and room status management were not handled properly. It seriously affected my sense of security as a guest. Because I no longer felt safe staying at the hotel after this happened, I ended up packing all of my belongings and staying at a friend’s place that same night instead. This was a very disappointing experience, and I hope the hotel improves its procedures to ensure that no guest has to go through something similar in the future.

Great stay in Ktown, parking was confusing but was figured out. The bathroom fan does not work so it was hot.

Generally very dinky property. Day staff was kind but the night staff at the front desk was always short and rude. Parking staff was always kind. Air con was good, tv was good, decently spacious room.

Clean room, location close to everything we wanted to see, free parking and bed is pretty comfortable.

Parking

I stayed with my wife in a two queen bed unit. There was a free parking lot for guests, which was the main reason I decided to stay here. A good size refrigerator with a freezer section was provided. Beds and blankets were clean. The bathroom needs to be improved. The water from the faucet was too weak and the shower knobs were loose and hard to control. The bathtub had several cracks but was functional.The commode was too close to the wall, which made it hard to sit and get up from it (the paper roll holder may be in your way to get up from the seat). Towels of only one medium size were provided. Only two paper rolls were available throughout the whole unit. Overall, it is ok to stay considering the price of the unit.

I have stayed in Koreatown hotels/motels so many times. But this place has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. The gentlemen working in the front desk they are so sweet and nice. When I was checking in the person in the front desk made us feel very welcome. The gentleman working in the evening he took care us. When I couldn't find a parking late in the evening he even valet my car for me. I was very grateful! This place is so awesome. I totally recommend this place!

Bathtub was not draining the water properly. Only one power outlet worked. Too expensive and disappointing.

The staff was very helpful! The restroom smelt like sewage. The towels in the restroom all had stains on them then I requested new towels and they gave me 2 big towels 1 wash cloth 2 hand towels both big towels were also dirty so I just used the hand towel to dry off. around 1 am the smoke alarm started chirping very loudly had to call the front desk took two tires but at least they picked up and help me stop the beeping. parking is very limited I tried to leave the hotel at around 8 for breakfast and my car was blocked in by several other cars.
