As expected, this was probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The look and feel of the hotel is an experience in itself, and the whole place feels incredibly calm, luxurious, and well thought through. It’s also in a great location for spending a few days in LA. We were upgraded to a much bigger room for our stay, which made it feel even more special. The room was super comfortable, spacious, spotless, and even had its own little garden area, which was a really nice addition. We had room service on the first night, which was excellent, and breakfast in the hotel was just as good. Definitely one of those places we’ll be returning to. We honestly couldn’t fault it!

Fantastic Hotel!!! A classic well managed and comfortable! Great breakfast and excelent service. I even had my SUV pulled-up ahead of time and with all my luggage perfectly tucked in the trunk. Will definitely return.

They changed it a lot and not for the better. They removed their iconic gift shop completely. TV’s in the room don’t face the bed or any seating in the room (very weird). The bar is still expensive, but the food menu has drunk. They have downsized a lot. I was extremely disappointed with the stay. The Hotel Bel Air is not the iconic place it once was, sadly.

For a luxury hotel the decor was so so. There was no turn down service and no floor to ceiling mirrors. Staff was extremely nice. I used to live on Stone Canyon road and as such went many times for events and dining. In fact my husband's 70 birthday was held there. I've also stayed at the Plaza Athenee and di Savoia. Very luxurious.
