Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel

We had move rooms because the shower wasn’t working. The staff was super helpful and kind and even discounted the bill a bit. Was just disappointed that we had to move from 2 queens to 2 doubles but thankful to have been able to move.

Most of the electric outlets did not work so it was difficult to charge our devices. Need more light over the sink for shaving

Everything is pretty old and outdated, yet clean. The wait at the restaurant is painful - they are severely understaffed and the food is very average. The pool is nice, and it feels very private and quiet but probably wouldn’t stay here again. The rooms could be nicer. 15-20 years ago this would’ve been considered very fancy, but they haven’t updated anything since.

From the room to the hallways, everything looked a bit worn and tired. The staff was nice, but the outdated interior made it hard to fully enjoy the stay. With some updates, this place could be much better.

What I didn't like although I was near the pool and the gym, they were not connected to the main lobby. If you are on the 3 or 4th floors, you will be located in a different location which made it not so easy for me to walk outside down the walkway to either walk alone the driveway to the main lobby or let the attendant know on duty or if there was not an attendant, you will have to call the front desk to let them know you will need a ride which is a courtesy 24 hours around the clock. If you wish to have a balcony make sure that is in your selection. I missed that completely. I enjoyed the breakfast and lunch/dinner. If I had to say here again, I would make sure I stayed in the main building I guess it would be floors 1 and 2. Bathroom clean, bed comfortable.

Luxe is my favourite hotel in LA. It is away from the hustle and is very quiet, clean and homely. The rooms are huge and the pool is great for a quiet drink or family time.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. The only issue for us was that both my husband and I use CPAP machines to sleep. The electric plug ins were not conveniently located. I could plug my machine in but my husband could not use his CPAP machine because there was no plug in by his side of the bed.

Please don’t go to this hotel.

The location could not be more perfect! It is only five miles from Rodeo Drive with minimal traffic. The grounds are gorgeous. The smell when we you enter the building is just heaven. The room is spacious with modern decor. I don’t know how anyone gave this hotel 2/5 stars. I would stay here again and again!!

Supposedly a four star hotel, with resort fee, $49/day valet parking, and taxes, we ended up paying about $375 per night. Door to our balcony wouldn’t open. Had to ask three people before one could get it done. Restaurant was okay. Menu was somewhat limited, then we ordered pizza for my son only to be told “we don’t have that anymore”. Valet parking is a little ridiculous, as the cars are parked on site within feet of where you drop them off. Nothing is walkable. The property is central to everything but convenient to little.

They make you feel like a true GUEST! Incredible customer service!!

All of the staff we encountered was professional and personable. The salt water swimming pool was most enjoyable. Only drawback, understaffed and difficult to get food and beverage service poolside.

Pool area was very noisy with children Shouting constantly.

The carpet was disgusting- stains and mildew everywhere. Paint chipping off in all places. The shower hasn’t been upgraded in decades and spills out of the tub even with curtain. Only positive was housekeeping and pool. First building needs upgrade

The property is run down and I felt like I was staying a motel with drug users. I would never recommend this property. It has the potential to be so much better.

We stay here often, at least twice per year. Always exactly what we need and close to friends and family.

The staff were so friendly and helpful in every area. The breakfast was delicious. The location as fantastic.

THIS IS A REHAB CENTER - BE AWARE! The smell as soon as you walk in is a hospital smell. The rooms are outdated and smelly as well. Horrible experience!
