Bed condition was awesome.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Koxie. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for getting around and exploring the area. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay here again

The guest room had recently undergone renovation, and the furnishings and amenities were modern and well-maintained. However, persistent operational noise was generated by the air conditioning system and other large-scale mechanical equipment. Additionally, the Wi-Fi network remained entirely inoperative throughout the entire stay—from check-in to check-out.

Pictures are nothing like the room. Maybe this is their plans once renovations are complete, but for now these are false advertisement. Also, the Hotel is attached behind another hotel. There were no large towels in the room and no soap for the shower. Had to use the bar of handsoap and a hand towel to dry off. They did eventually bring towels and we did sleep well. But, otherwise don’t book until you make sure renovations are complete and that these pictures are real. Also, they make you put down a $250 refundable deposit for any damage which is ridiculous after we already paid for the hotel. Overall super bummed. Will never stay here again!

The hotel is under new management that is renovating, so the lobby is in transition and the prior name of the hotel is still on the building, which was confusing. The security guard in the parking lot was very helpful, both in assuring me I was in the correct location and informing me about parking. The underground parking is typical of LA, with tight spaces and low entry ceiling. There are a few spots at street level for tall vehicles. The room was spacious and clean and the front desk attendant was pleasant and efficient. The location in K-town is walkable to several eateries a few blocks away on Western Ave. I felt safe even at night, but I am used to big cities.

I don’t know if they have plans for a remodel but the ground level check-in floor has no decor, bare concrete floors and access to the building is only through the parking lot in the back and underground lot. My stay was very quiet and comfortable, but I didn’t really require much.

The hotel was under heavy remodeling. The front street entrance windows and doors were papered over so no views, the lobby was half unusable and our two queen-bed room was sparse with amenities: no dresser, one office chair with folding table, exposed wires on the wall where TV was hung. The only upsides were: location in heart of Korea town, comfortable memory foam queen beds, excellent AC and clean bathroom. The hotel concierge only spoke when spoken to, no greetings upon check in or check out. If I had known the hotel was under remodeling, I would have opted for other hotels even if higher priced. Overall, disappointing experience that did not live up to the price paid for two nights.

The staff was a terrible and not helpful

Hotel seems to be under construction but other than the lobby being incomplete you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference based on the room. The deluxe single room was perfect. Room was cute, and spacious! Loved the stand up shower and adjustable shower heads, perfect for any height. Would definitely stay here again and might have to just to see what the lobby looks like when it’s complete!

First off, the signage on the hotel is wrong—apparently we were supposed to know that Hotel Rotex and Koxie are the same thing, so we circled around the block a few times before pulling into the nearly empty parking garage. The lobby was a gutted construction zone and I wondered if the place was even open. Even though it was 2:30 and the place looked deserted, we were told that our room was not ready, so we walked around the block until check-in time at 3. The room, although clean was dated, sad, and barely resembled the pictures online, which claimed to show its”room’s updated “boutique” vibe. To be honest we were so disappointed with the experience, we checked out that night after our show and decided to drive back to San Diego instead of spending the night in LA. To end on a positive note, the parking garage was convenient and reasonable ($15) but the $200 room deposit was unnecessary and irritating.

This room had nothing to do with what I booked in the pictures. It was very off. I got an old room and the lobby and everything else is under construction. I was told it was Expedia who did not update the pictures, but I probably got the oldest room in the whole hotel I have
