Rotex Western Inn

Terrible experience. Got to the hotel and there was hair all over the toilet seat and the bed sheets. We told the staff and the man at the front desk said to tell the cleaning lady and all she did was flush the toilet and said she “cleaned” it. We wanted to switch rooms after seeing all the hair and they did not allow it. There was dust all over the ceiling and walls. The TV didn’t work at all. It would turn on and then not respond and stay stuck on the guide menu. Above our room there were noisy guests stomping around and pacing back and forth constantly. We called twice to complain and the disturbance still continued. Do not recommend this place at all! Staff are not as helpful and the hotel is not as clean as the rest of the reviews make it seem.

The location was excellent. There is a shopping center right across the street, which was very convenient. Hollywood and Santa Monica beach...were both less than a 30-minute drive away, making it a great place to stay for travelers who want to explore the area. The location was very convenient and perfect for a trip.

Nice roClean; includes a refrigerator, microwave, and air conditioning that keeps the room comfortably cool.

The property is okay given budget rating. However, the wifi was intermittent to unavailable. The bathroom sink was semi- clogged and damaged. Free parking is great, but didn't have direct access to the lobby.

Hidden gem. Everything was smooth and the beds have been recently updated. And lots of good food choices walking distance

Staff try to help as much as possible, but the property is visibly aging and needs some renovating/upgrading. Rooms are not very weatherproof and can get humid even with AC on.

The inn is in walking distance to any nearby food place and small stores without having to drive to them and back.

Great location if you’re visiting different parts of LA. Extremely comfortable beds. Mini fridge, microwave and convenient underground parking. Staff was great, very friendly and accommodating

Overall had a positive stay here. A plus was the onsite parking, cleanliness, and prime location.

The neighborhood is kind of run down. Not a variety of dining. Just Korean food.

This hotel had on site free parking which was a major plus for us. The room and hotel were very basic. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was great and the water stayed hot forever. The room smelled terrible of cigarette smoke and there was a plastic shower cap on the smoke alarm and the room was still being cleaned when we arrived hours after check in so we had to wait a few minutes to get in which wasn't a big deal but if we arrived at check in it would have been a huge deal waiting that long.

one of my favorite spots to stay in when I’m visiting LA. Easy check in, super easy for ride share, and friendly staff with clean rooms. Always worry free when I stay here.
