Derby City Gaming & Hotel - A Churchill Downs Property

We LOVE Derby City! The rooms are so clean and well maintained, the staff is so personable and helpful, we will always choose derby city when we’re in the area! Special shout out to KEVIN the shuttle driver! A++ guy!

This is our second year staying with them for B & B! They are great! My only complaint is they opened the shuttle up to locals that caused a delay to hotel guests. They also blocked Football games on the TV in your room so you had to watch them in the bar. Two things that are making us consider staying somewhere else next year.

Super clean hotel, they offered us free parking and a complementary shuttle two and from our event each day. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed for Bourbon & Beyond and it was perfect. The shuttle was so helpful. The room was available when we arrived early, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay, would come back. Room was spacious and surprisingly comfortable. 10/10.

Check-in was easy, and check-out was even easier. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Having the casino on-site was a lot of fun, and it was easy to grab an Uber wherever we wanted to go.

Very clean and spacious room. Two complimentary bottles of water were supposed to be in the room but were not. I asked at the desk and they cheerfully provided them. Room was relatively quiet which I really appreciated. The shower was also great with plenty of hot water and strong flow.

Staff were pleasant. Rooms were beautiful and cleaner than I’ve ever seen in a hotel! And what a delight watching the horses/jockeys train on the track.

We didn’t get to enjoy the casino since we stayed just for the night before a flight but we are planning to go back for weekend very soon.

Hotel is nice and the property was clean, but there’s no food service. There’s no restaurant are really good. Good food from the gambling is all video games.

We had a great stay. The shuttle drivers are super nice.
