Our check in was more than perfect. The location was more than we could’ve asked for. Our stay was so comfortable and quiet. The manager working was so friendly. This place can’t be beat. Parking easy peasey. We were able to walk to local restaurants and breweries. Our daughter loved the beach nearby. We will definitely be returning annually.

It is a great location! Truly within walking distance to one of the best beaches in Michigan! We enjoyed sitting on the deck, great view of the lighthouse and water, it was fun watching the boats come and go with their catches of the day. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We used it almost every afternoon or evening.

Check in process was a disaster, then they had to change our room. The property was nice but in need of repairs.

We loved the patio overlooking the boat launch. We had an issue with the tv and a receptacle in the bathroom not working and the staff came right away and they were both working when we returned. The next day the staff asked if they were working for us. The employees were very helpful to work with and check in and check out were a breeze. The bathroom was quite small and the door didn’t close tight, were the only things that could have been better, but we did book a smaller room. It was easy to walk to the beach or town from the hotel. There was an Arts and Craft show in the park that weekend and we walked there a few times. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean..Property is maintained well. Location is excellent basically, right on beach. Lake view rooms (we had one) are amazing!!

Older motel that has been remodeled. Rooms are laid out a little oddly, but were clean and we made it work. While hotel is close to the water, you can only see the water from the 2nd floor.

The location was perfect, and the room was very nice, but quite small. We are planning on booking there again next year, hoping to get a larger room. But, all in all we loved the place and would even go back to our small room. As mentioned, the room was rather small, but we would go back anytime.

This is a cozy place in an absolutely perfect location. Close to downtown activities and even closer to the beach. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Loved the location and proximity to the beach. It was also within walking distance to several downtown locations for food. I couldn’t think of anything I didn’t like.

We usually try and stay here every year. Great location, shops and dining are walkable. Near the beach and we can watch the Badger come in to port and leave to Wisconsin everyday. We are never disappointed.
