Excellent. Comfortable. Jenna and Chris are great hosts. Carson their dog is special too. Chris is a creative and talented chef. The breakfast menus were appetizing and satisfying. I enjoyed it all. We will stay at Cartier Manson again

We had an amazing stay for a week while in Ludington visiting family. The carriage room was so cool and comfy. The bed was perfect and the breakfasts were so tasty and different from the normal things you get at most BnB’s. Easy short walk into town to the lake/beach and all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when in town.

This was an amazing find in Ludington, MI. The establishment was clean, very organized and the delightful breakfast was for a refined palate. We felt extremely welcome and the hosts went out of their way to add details to make our stay memorable.

Historic mansion near the center of Ludington. Chris and Jenna were superb hosts, our hayloft suite was quiet and comfortable, and the gourmet breakfasts were outstanding.

This wasn’t just a stay, it was an EXPERIENCE. We felt like guests in someone’s mansion (because we were!). The furnishings, the music, the decor, the history, the ambiance were all exquisite from the moment we walked in. And the breakfast… three courses in colors, tastes, and textures that were unique and so enjoyable. Chris and Jenna were such gracious and knowledgeable hosts. We hope to visit again!

The breakfast was outstanding and worth experiencing on its own, even if you are paying for the room and not staying there. It was some of the best food we have ever eaten! The room was outstanding as was the ambiance of the mansion and grounds! So well maintained and made you feel like you were being treated like royalty.

The room in the stables is fascinating in keeping the original structure, materials, and tack. It was clean and comfortable and had a modern bathroom. As for breakfast, the first course juice was nutritious and delicious. The second course of fruit and lemon curd was very fresh and delicious. I avoid sugar at all cost. Using monk fruit to sweeten lemon curd would make that a perfect course. Also, the egg course was dry and the butter based cream sauce covering the plate is not my first choice due to healthy diet preferences and shouldn’t be needed to make eggs delicious.

Our one night stay in the Stable Suite was absolutely wonderful, however, we should have stayed longer. Chris & Jenna are the perfect hosts. So much thought and love went into the Cartier Mansion and their attention to detail is impeccable. Breakfast did not disappoint. I look forward to staying with them again. If you love exceptional hospitality you must stay at the Cartier Mansion. And Carson the butler is too cute!
