Nice place with good rooms. Location is good, convenient to several place for food, ect.. No breakfast and only vending on the property itself. Parking is tight, especially for larger vehicles.

Staff was very nice. For the price it is great.

Everything

I we told appreciate it if the housekeeping staff would not knock on your door before checkout. Sone people do sleep until 1030

Highly recommend. It’s an older historical hotel that is currently being renovated. My only critique would be the lack of breakfast offerings, but there are numerous places nearby to eat.

Great location. Nice staff!

This hotel claims to be a 3 star establishment. The affordable suites of Lynchburg is only a 2 star hotel and is three times nicer than this place also the wood springs suites is as well if your looking for nicer establishments without breaking the bank. Plus the Air conditioner in my room didn’t work and sounded like a jet engine taking flight and management can’t tell me they didn’t know it wasn’t working considering that massive record breaking heatwave just came through. Overall I highly recommend against this hotel

WiFi wasn’t working, area is not like advertised.
-
The AC didn’t work in the room. The pool was not available. The front desk staff for check in was absolutely rude. Had to let the water in the shower run for about five minutes before it stopped being brown and the entire hotel smelled like sewage. Both beds in the room were broken.
-
They are in the middle of renovation but the room was clean.

Staff was excellent. The room had a jacuzzi tub that didn't work. The bathroom ceiling was cracked. The bathroom walls were bubbled an decaying. The room door didn't work correctly. The huge king size room with a sofa, had a tiny 32 in TV about 15 years old. The mattress wasn't comfortable. The biggest problem was no breakfast.

They would not let me stay here They would not help me at all I’m elferly
-
No amenities, no restaurant, no bar or bar options, pool not available(empty), ice machine not working, tub would fill up with water when having a shower, shower faucet was stiff and hard to operated. Extremely dated hotel. Cheap but too dated. Staff were polite but at check I was not asked how my stay was. Probably because they are used to getting rather brutal answers.

Pleasant

Door locks were super temperamental, phone did not work, pool being renovated

The staff were lovely and the lobby impressive. The rooms are dated— the wallpaper, bathrooms (tiles in shower need a good bleach cleaning), dirty desk chair. Was disappointed when I entered the room to see 2 full size beds instead of queen, as advertised. Apparently all the rooms have the same sized beds, so don’t expect a queen. Location in Lynchburg is good. Hotel was fine for one night.

First staff is amazing an quick. Rooms are good. The grand is one of my favorites causes it’s straight across from The Academy Center.
-
It was a decent hotel. I didn’t see any other guests. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Pool was not available. The fitness room smelled awful. Carpets are old and dated
